Obviously there was a shed-load more stuff which I shall post up when I am less busy (I have a huge backlog of photos now!).
Spread them out until next April to make up for those of us entering the Northern Hemisphere's winter season...

This kind of shot has 0.000000000000% chance of ever happening in Ohio...

I saw something that I have never seen before, in the rear view mirror it looked like a Cosworth Sierra and as it went past I saw the Lotus Carlton badge on it.

I don't know how interesting this is in Europe or the UK but to me it is quite interesting.

Wikipedia told me some stuff about it, it held the record for fastest 4 door saloon for some time!

"Lotus' modifications started with an upgraded engine, which was stroked from the standard Opel 2969 cc 24v straight six unit, used in the GSi, to a capacity of 3615 cc.[2] Lotus then added twin Garrett T25 turbochargers to give 377 horsepower (281 kW) and 419 foot-pounds (568 N·m).[3] The original engine block was not strong enough and therefore a new under block was cast.[citation needed] The same six-speed manual ZF transmission as fitted to a contemporary Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 was used to transfer this power to the rear wheels via a rear limited-slip differential from the V8 Holden Commodore. The suspension was modified by Lotus, with the rear suspension mounting to the body at more, different points, and self-leveling dampers.[4] Large 17" wheels from Ronal were fitted, along with wider tyres. Large brakes were added.[2]

The car was capable of 0-60 mph in 5.2 seconds and had 12.5 in (330 mm) AP ventilated disc brakes with racing calipers all round. The car could hit around 50 mph (80 km/h) in first gear and achieve 0-100 mph and back to a complete stop in less than 15 seconds. The Lotus Carlton held the title of the fastest four door saloon car for some years."

Lotus Carltons are always cool.

Jeff, we're in the Northern Hemisphere too. Hoping for even more nice cars in the cooler months! :)

Nice spot on the Lotus Carlton 👍

They're rare in this country where a majority were sold. They must be like hen's teeth down under

Can't remember the last time i saw one on the road.

Fyi, there's a DYSAGT thread specifically for dealerships and show cars. This one is for cars seen on the road, parked or driving.

They were driven to the track by owners... so they aren't necessarily show cars. Like my post explained.

btw i used to live in the Cincinnati area. Mason if you know it.

That's all irrelevent. The cars were at a show therefore they go in the show edition of this thread.

They only belong here if you'd seen them on the street being driven to the show.

Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R Vspec

Not sure that this is even a GT-R. It doesn't appear to have the blistered rear arches.

Can't see them that well, but those wheels need burning with fire. There's a T180 Celica GT-Four a few doors down from me totally ruined by a set of similarly offensive wheels. :yuck:

The "add ons" to the rear bumper also have me a bit confused...

Yesterday driving back home from an evening out, there was finally a Ferrari 612 standing still:

Well it has the GT-R badge on it so I take it that it is a GT-R.

And what is it with people and chrome wheels?

I saw a Lotus Elise in one parking lot a couple of weeks ago :D One of the most unbelievable things I ever saw. It was yellow, and of course I took a picture but I did it on a flip phone so I can't upload it :( Or you can..?

EDIT: Here you go guys :)

I couldn't get any more as my Mom wanted to me to leave out of the parking lot :(

It's a GTS25t. Sunroof and non-flared arches give the game away. Still, it looks quite authentic at first glance.

Finally saw a Murano Cross Cabriolet...they should quarantined inside showrooms. Fortunately, this was on I-85 in North Carolina; I haven't seen this piece of rolling bad taste hasn't been sighted in South Florida yet.
