^^ I thought that 360 looked a little wrong at first, like too upright, not svelte enough, suspected an MR2-based kit but then googled and my bad, had just never realised it was that "stocky" looking.

Same here, I suspected that the DLO wouldn't be that tall but meh. Also I had never realised till about last year that their exhaust tips are really that small - always just presumed must of been a kit car and then bang on the head when I misjudged so many for being awesome replicas.

Saw:

BMW M3 GTS
BMW M5
BMW M6

Driving in a single file line.

There was also a ferrari 458 italia parked outside a shabby bagel hut in my small town. What is a ferrari doing out in the suburbs anyway? :dunce:

I seen a twin turbo Aventador, a Hennessey Venom GT, and a group of old muscle cars doing burnouts and crashing into each other. What are groups of old muscle cars doing burnouts and crashing into each other doing out in the suburbs anyway? :dunce:

Spotted this pretty neat Corvette kit car tonight while taking the Mini for a spin. At first I thought it was an early 60s model, but upon closer examination, I found a C5 interior inside of there. Looked like a pretty high quality replica, too. Not sure how they got Historical plates on there, unless they registered it as a 60s Corvette. But I'd think it'd be more cheaper to just insure it as a C5, right?

Saw this last week as I was leaving a client. It was Friday, so the nightlife scene was starting to develop. The two gentlemen who pulled up in the Gallardo certainly made an impression. Had to get a shot.

Since my departure from GTPlanet, I've taken some more photos of rare cars. Sadly, most of those are in my 8GB SD card which was lost. :grumpy: However, I took some other shots from my Nikon D40X. Here they are.

Toyota MR-S

Alfa Romeo Spider

4th Gen

Volkswagen Jetta II

USDM version

Jaguar XKR

Damn blur.

Porsche 911 [997]

Honda Civic Type R [EP3]

The one built on Swindon, UK

Saw this beauty on the way to the store today:

I think it's a Virage. Or maybe it's a DB9. They look too similar. It's a nice change to see something other than a Porsche for once, I see too many of those. I'll post more cars if I see anything cool.

It's a Virage. Nice spot!

I haven't contributed much here this year, it's been a slow year :(. Next year though I'll be in England again for a week, and I'm going to try to up my spotting again. Glad to see some new people here keeping this thread going.

So apparently there's a Lamborghini Sesto Elemento that arrived in Hong Kong this week...

HK friends, you know what to do! ;)

This, gentlemen.

And no, Boxster is not quite a decent spot. Porsches (with a few exceptions) don't make me excited at all, personally.

EDIT:

900th post!
:gtpflag:

I don't know, the Boxster Spyder is pretty high up there in the Porsche hierarchy.

Of course we have no proof that he actually saw one.

In the states, it is known as Dodge Magnum.

Here they are usually parked at "Buy here, pay here" dealerships, where you can get a V6 model for $100 down and 20% interest. Once purchased the buyer will immediately go across the street to a custom shop, get 24" wheels fitted, and painted with a hideous two tone paint job. Once the first month's payment is skipped, the car is repossessed, and put back in the lot. All custom accessories are pawned off, and the cycle continues.
