I was leaving Griot's Garage today and on 38th st was a good looking red '67 Mercury Cougar right behind me. I just wish I had pics, please don't hate me for not taking some pics.

And so even a kit Cobra is freaking expensive and so good?

Well Superformance reached agreement with Carol Shelby before his passing that they could build brand new "Shelby Cobra's", complete with sideoiler 427's and per schematics of the original.

So it's entirely possible to own a 2013 original Shelby Cobra these days. Not sure how much dime that would be though.

My spots today:
BMW M3 E92. These black rims look sweet... :p

I believe the CSX 6000 series start at $80k. Now if it comes put together or in a kit I'm not sure.

Also on a different note, I've just observed two replica Cobras side by side. One was a competition spec S/C replica with the 427 SO 4 speed and another was...well not. It had a 302 crate motor with a 5 speed I believe and was running NOS and other aftermarket bits. Now I asked the owners how much they've put into their respectable cars. The 427 guy had $120k in it and the 302 had a little over $50. The main difference being that the $50k one was home built and the 427 was done professionally.

You like Jukes? Eww, I find them ugly. And there are AWFULLY lot of Jukes in my area. I learned this car when I saw it on a street for the first time. My first take on it was like "Damn, what the hell is that?". Then I realised - Nissan has made a new crossover...
Well, this is my opinion however.

It's better than a Countryman, actually. They're just terrible.

Fisker Karma

I don't like it's looks and the lack of exhaust note.

Its pretty quick for electric I hear, but I do remember reading an article about a car guy strapping a proper v8 into it. Given the choice id take a v8

And in my opinion, I dont think it looks that awful

If I had a zl1, win or lose; I would laugh at a turbo mazda.

But Zl1 are just beastly looking anyways.

Although my car is mostly stock now, I plan on taking the stock bottom end as far as it will go, Im hoping for 400 AWHP, nothing to sneeze at. There are several of these over 500 AWHP and 11's at the track...

I'ma Chevy guy at heart anyways, anyone beats down on the little DD, they have its big brother at home to deal with ;)

Seen a Black Chrysler 300C SRT8 parked up.

Maybe not to unusual in the US but surprised to see on here in the UK and I didn't know they done a SRT8 version.

Looked good even it was huge and with a 5.7L engine I imagine its pretty expensive to run.

The 'car guy' in question is Mr. Bob Lutz, so you know.

You forgot the part about uploading the picture.

Also, it has a 6.1L (or 6.4 if it's the new one) not a 5.7.

Here are my spots today.

El Camino. This guy always has different classic cars at his house. Usually one is an El Camino. This one is a different one, though.

Not sure. Front looks like it says Ford but I may be wrong. (I zoomed in way too much :banghead:

Is this a 911 Turbo? I don't know my 911s...

C63 AMG. Unusual to see a car like this in front of my neighborhood. I think it may be the same person that works down the street at the grocery store...

I know.

I only have access to a iPhone and iPad and I don't think I can upload using them?

I never took a pic anyway as personally I feel uncomfortable taking a pic of somebody else's car esp when there are loads of people about.

When I seen it I searched for 300C SRT8 it it came up so I thought it was a real car, looking on the web now it deffo had a 5.7L badge and it was in the lower left hand side if the boot.

The SRT badges were just before the rear archies and it had one on the right hand side of the boot.

It was 1st gen too so now I think it was just the badges added, shane as it looked pretty aggressive

I upload all of my pictures with my iPad. Although you have to find a way to get them on there, like with a computer. Although if you take them with the camera on the iPad you can just upload them to a Photobucket or Flickr app and post them on here.
