The Ford? The Crown Vic? Yeah.... Not in Panama, but in some parts of the states, maybe. Didn't they end production of the Crown Vic?

Yes, the Crown Victoria's production ended and it's still a fairly common car to see in the US, like you said, especially in some areas. It got replaced by Ford's new Police Interceptor, which looks like a Taurus with police badges on it.

I wouldn't really consider it an interesting site as I see them quite a lot, but it's a good car, so Dagger is getting it.

Actually, the Lexus IS300 is a great spot imo, it's rarely seen and is a decent looking sedan. I quite like them.

I didn't say that about the Lexus, got that odd quote bug. I can't remember seeing any like that, but lexus is everywhere in Atlanta, so...

Anyway, went looking for the El Camino, wasn't at the house or on our lanes. I told you all it would be hard to get. It's white, and looks like it may be from the late 60's.
 
Is that a Buick wagon in the photo next to the Crown Vic? I'd take a photo of that, if I saw it. Might not post it here, since it probably wouldn't meet with much enthusiasm, but those late 70's early 80's models that were common are now getting rare. I took a photo of a mint looking Yugo the other day because how many of them can possibly be left? But wagons are cool by default, so I'd probably post it here after all.

I've come very close to taking a photo of an Altezza/IS300, those are seriously sweet sedans. But they're fairly common. But they do look nice...

Here's an exercise for while you're driving around. Try to identify every car you see. Spend a good hour here and there just reading through model lists for the big manufacturers on wikipedia, and then see if you can spot them. Eventually, after a year or so probably, you'll be able to identify 90% of the cars on the road. But only if you really want to be able to know what they are... I could spend 1/2 hour per car going off just a badge (say Chevy) and then hitting wikipedia to identify the model, then google images to confirm the year (which is more tedious than you might think...) But when I can finally say "1961 Impala" and be 100% confident, all on my own, it feels pretty good.

What about reverse image search, would that work on a tablet?

  1. Open Google
  2. Search for images
  3. Manually drag an image file into the search window
  4. Google will search for said picture and tell you where it came from
 
Copy image > paste into google search > click search by image.

Just reverse searched a pic in another thread. It's definitely possible, and has been for a long time.

That Camaro isn't a ZL1 either, they never came in synergy green. I'm sorry, I just had to point that out.

Just did a little research, and synergy green is a very popular color to repaint zl1's with. There was also a concept zl1 with that shade of green, but that definitely wasn't what that was.

Yes, I'm aware of that. Also yup, the Camaro you saw definitely wasn't a ZL1.
 
Got some more. A Camaro SS and A Corvette Z-something (sure it's a vette this time), right off the bat. Going to check the others for anything good, then post what I have left.

There you go! Not sure how many of them get good, but both the Chevrolet's and whatever that white one is are good for me.
 
One of those pics has a riced Civic and a Jaguar, that's a rather good spot (for the Jag anyways)
I'm not knowledgeable about BMW's but I think that's a 7 series with a v12, which would be the top tier I believe.

And an 80's Trans Am/Camaro. Good day for you đź‘Ť

If that XK is an "R" than it's good, otherwise it's meh. I can't tell from the picture. No clue on the BMW, someone else here would have to give you some insight.

They are neither rare or good. The first generation Cavalier is kinda rare, but that's because it's extremely...not good. My dad had one. First the engine went, and after that was fixed the transmission went. It sat for a couple years and he sold it for $200. That's on the high end of Cavalier prices. :p

We had some kind of cavalier when I was younger, all that's left is hunks of metal and stories. They said it broke down before it was even half paid off, then the engine blew, and it wasn't even worth fixing. We sold the chassis for 50 bucks to a scrap metal guy.

It's a standard XK Cabriolet. The BMW could be a 760li, but the E39 rims look ridiculously small for a LWB E65.
