-R32 Skyline. That makes 2 in this putrid little burg. 2! And neither of them are mine! Bastards!
-Chrysler 300 with bodykit and spinners
-Notably well preserved MkI MR-2. Just like the first car I bought in GT4.
-Convertable Oldsmobile 442, '69 or '70. Looking at the production specs, it was either made convertable later (do they do that?) or one of about 3000 (in each year). Not bad.
-MkI Golf GTi. These aren't rare at all, are they?
and:

blue one
Which reminds me of the Manxish dune buggy at the same intersection.

Pretty good day, maybe I should get out more.
I had a friend in high school that had one of those. I took her spinning doughnuts in my truck in the winter (84 toyota 4x4, but had to take it out of 4x4 to spin), and then we tried with her truck. And it wouldn't spin. I finally figured out it was FRONT WHEEL DRIVE! And I'll bet VW couldn't figure out why it never caught on in America.

Looks like Ottawa is a lot better for car spotting than I once thought.

While eating dinner last night, I saw a BMW850, a 911 Turbo Cabrio, and a Shelby GT350 (Looked like a replica) pass by. Also saw a Buick Regal modified for drag racing with massive rear tires.

I went to a trackday at the weekend. Saw a lod of cool cars...

Gallardo
355 Spider
Loads of 911s including a gt2
Ultima

Batteries ran out in the camera so I didn't get many pics.

Yeah, not a very promising precidence for the Ridgeline there.
Reminds me of something interesting I noticed; can you name even one front engine, rear drive VW? I can't.

a pimped out 95 merc c series looked like 22" rims, chameleon paint, ground effects, and REALLY LOUD reggae music pumping from car with a brazilian flag in the back window...I wanted to smack the guy !

It wasn't today but I didn't know what it was. It had this badge on the back and front of it. I'm 95% sure what is was now thanks to the Autocar magazine I bought today.

It was the latest Golf R32! It must have been in testing or something because the car isn't supposed to be out for a while yet. :D

I've seen so many of those around and they are ugly! :yuck: I actually like the look of the stock Golf a lot better than the R32s. I think it's the huge wheels that look out of place.

Are you sure you've seen many?

I'm on about the latest gen Golf version which hasn't been released yet.

Maybe it's the different one then. The R32 I'm talking about is already released(obviously), it came out earlier this year? Maybe you guys already have newer gen. Golfs in Europe......

That's the R32 out now with the previous gen Golfs.

A first gen Capri in great condition, a really nice Touraeg, and an RX-8. It was reving in the parking lot, damn it sounds nice.

When I was on holiday I saw these cars:

Aston Martin DB7
AC Shelby Cobra
BMW M3
BMW Z4

Maserati Spyder, Merc SLK AMG, Nissan 350Z (looked like a 30th Aniversary edition). All during a 15 minute trip from the subway station to my house. Toronto car spotting kicks ass!

Lotus Elise, M3, Ferrari Testarossa, WRX STI 22B (must have been imported; driver was on wrong side), RX-7 (think it might have been a Bathurst), and a NSX.

Black Lamborghini Gallardo
Bentley Continental GT
E49 BMW M3
Audi S3

Less rare,

R32 Skyline GTR
Honda NSX
RX7 (FD3S)

all on the road.

Hmmm.. let me think

3 Bentley Continental GT's
2 M-B SLK 55 AMG's
M-B SL65 AMG
~10 Ferrari 360 Modenas
9 Ferrari 355's
Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale
Ferrari 360 Spyder
2 Ferrari 612
Ferrari F40
Ferrari Enzo!
2 Aston Martin DB9's
2 Aston Martin Vanquish
3 Aston Martin DB7's
2 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Test cars
Aston Martin DBRS 9
Jaguar Coupe Test Car
Maserati Quattraporte
5 Lotus Elises
Ford GT40
Rolls Royce Phantom
and Countless 911's including a GT3 RS and 3 GT2's

Ok so i didn't see them all today but i've been away for a week near the aston martin and jaguar factorys, and i went to silverstone today and browsed the car parks :)

Couple cool Porsches, etc, but those are relatively common. This, on the other hand, isn't.

Oh, I also saw an '06 Miata on Friday, I think it looked pretty good. I was shocked to see one on the road so soon.

I saw a black Shelby GT350 on the back of a flatbed, looked like it was in mint condition (from the outside at least). Also saw a new Passat for the first time (I didn't even know they were in NA yet!). Very nice looking car, VW has their act together in terms of styling (a rare thing these days).

I guess it was a Skyline, a new one though like the one that is identical to the G35 we get. The only thing that gave it away was the badges (of course) and the fact the driver was on the wrong side. Also it sounded entirely different.

No it was not a conversion since it had an M plate on it which meant it belonged to some sort of company.

Has someone been playing SRS lately?

Because it sounds like you have.

[edit]

The RX7 Bathurst was limited to only 500 models for all of Japan and weren't available elsewhere. And for the 22b, there were only 400 models made for Japan only, and were sold out within 48 hours.

How come there's 22B's in germany than? Driven by crazy white people?

anywho....

Black SRT-10
Dark blue 360M
"silver" 911 Turbo
Yellow carrera S
2 "tuner" porsche boxsters...Driven by 2 fairly attractive females...
