Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6. I even got a ride with that car as my dad tested it. Our friend works in this Chrysler-"shop" and he came to show the car to us and let my dad drive it. It was like sitting on ground and it was fast! I know I'll never ever experience anything like that again.

An old Camaro dragster (don't know what year it was). Just sitting in a Walmart parking lot! I could tell it was a dragster because it has the latch for the wheelie bar and I could see a full rollcage. Other than that a new Corvette ZO6, a Z8, a MB 190 EVO, and a Ford GT. Thats what I get for living right outside the Hamptons :sly:.

Did I See Anything Good Today? Yes I did, this car made me stop in my tracks :

An Isdera Imperator 108i (1984). Deffinitly a strange sight, at first glance I thought it was a Lamborghini.. Some info I just found :

"Isdera is a German specialist car maker producing supercars based on most Mercedes' components. Back in 1984, it created the Imperator 108i, which was featured in the famous Supercar Contest held by German magazine Auto, Motor und Sport in 1986. Although being the slowest car in the field, the 108i still managed 176 mph and took merely 5 seconds for 0-60 mph. 0-100 mph took 10.8 sec. Power rating in then was 390 hp, not the 350 nor 330hp that generally appeared in other sources.

Undoubtedly, Isdera had a very good relationship with Mercedes-Benz - the 4973 c.c. V8 engine came from Mercedes 500SEC, which was tuned up of course. Gearbox came from the same source. The radical styling was somewhat copied from Mercedes' C111 concept car of the 70s, so was the "Gullwing" doors. One of the distinctive feature was the periscope mirror on the roof, which solved the problem regarding rearward visibility caused by the high-mounted mid-engine."

Weirdest thing is the lack of normal mirrors. Must be painful for your neck if you constantly have to look into the "periscope mirror"!

I didn't... :indiff: but my sis and her bloke just got back from Paris and sent me these pics... 👍

While driving from Milford to Auburn Hills then to Warren (about 60 miles) in a Cobalt SS today I pulled up next to a MkV Jetta GLI right out side of VAG US headquaters. So we both got on it off the light but the GLI pwned the little SS. So I saw that today.

Also a Audi RS6, Lotus Elise, BMW M Coupe, Ford GT, and a 1969 Camaro SS.

I saw an classic Right Hand Drive Mini today. First RHD car I've ever seen on the roads!

I was in Glasgow again yesterday. Got overtaken on the motorway on the way there by a 911 Carrera 4S (sounded pretty nice). Saw a new Lotus Elise and a Ferrari F430 within about 15 seconds of each other on the same road. Also saw what I believe was a new M5 (but it was quite far away at the time) and an SL55 (though, again, it was quite far away, so it could have been the 350)

I saw not one, but two Ferrari 360s today (a red spyder and a silver coupe on the back of a car carrier).

I've probably seen about 10 Ferraris in the past week. I think I must be developing some sort of magical tifosi scent or something...
