Diesel

Indeed most diesels are very quiet nowerdays. I find them to be much more sofisticated. However, my dad's Volkswagen Golf mark IV TDI is still pretty loud compared to it's petrol counterpart, the GTI. The Volkswagen TDI engines are very common over here, in all sorts of Volkswagens, Audis, Skodas, SEATs, so I think there is a high possibility that we might see them in the game. Their sound is pretty different to the petrol versions, so they are good comparison material.

 

[the Interceptor]

I drive a Seat diesel, and I must say that it's not really silent, although far away from noisy. But you can clearly recognize that it's a diesel engine, and you also can on a BMW or a Mercedes.
The tone of the 120d is just right, but the real diesel sound is missing.
