Diferences between Corvette Z06 and ZR1?

Not the obvious ones

I'm wondering if both can be race modded? If so, they both end up pretty much the same? Or the ZR1 is still better? Basically, fully tuned and race modded, which is faster? And is there a significant difference?

I'm thinking the ZR1 should be a lot faster, but I want to be sure before I start spending money. Thanks for any info.

from the looks of it the zr1 is better all around car

i know i had a fully modded z06 and beat zr1's(rm and not) in a straight line

I have both, fully modded RM's....I used the Z06 as a beater for grinding it out at Indy...Overall I prefer the ZR1..... spend the extra 100k....

ZR1 looks to still have a good deal more HP after same mods.

i think it was 905 to 860 or something like that but the z06 is a little lighter

The C6 ZR1 RM is 50Kg lighter than the C6 Z06 RM...

Edit: I took a second look and the C6 Z06 RM is actually 10kg lighter than the C6 ZR1 RM
