Is there a list showing the numbers for all the super gt cars when they're maxed? I have yet to buy one and I'm wondering what the subtle differences are between them all.

In stock form the xanavi nismo z 06 appears to be the most powerful.

If such a list does not yet exist please help me create it by posting the output you've obtained from your maxed out super gt cars here in this thread and I will repost it neatly here in my original post. Thanks! :)

Here's the list (work in progress) after modding. Not yet in any particular order

Castrol tom's supra 97 - 561 hp, 514 ft-lb, 1150 kg, 609 pp
Arta garaiya 08 - 508 hp, 405 ft-lb, 1175 kg, 593 pp

I did a very quick and brief test and it shows, as you said, that the Xanavi Nismo Z is the best stock and the first two Lexus' in the premium car dealership are the worst.
But that was a very, very brief test

Do a search for Stormbringer's thread, he tested all the SuperGT cars. They're all extremely close stock, as they should be.

I haven't modified any of mine as that'd kinda defeat the whole point of using a SuperGT car in my opinion.

Good to know. The stock information is good but I want to know and compile a list for them fully modded as I believe most people will end up modifying them.

First of all I hate to add upgrades on race cars...I think it should always be like GT2.
There meant to be differences between those cars --- Super GT isn't Nascar. Even from the same manufacturer, different works team have different settings/strategic uses on cars. They should be reflected on those, otherwise, why have them? But unfortunately, a Woodone Clarion will feel pretty much the same to a Xanavi Nismo, whereas the Motul Autech shouldn't be given any defects, is done so.
And about the SC/NSX/GT-R, they should differ largely. The SC has aerodynamic disadvantage, & should perform better at Fuji which is the Toyota home track, NSX should be better at Suzuka&Twin Ring Motegi but very badly in Sugo, and GT-R will have advantage over all the '08 vehicles at any track (say on a straight line it should have a slight advantage & have a better line than the SC430). Also '06 SC430s should be faster than '06 NSX & Z.
But they won't be in the game. Super GT is a fabulous contest, held over a number of hardest tracks in the world, with most dedicated works teams, most reckless & skillful drivers, most varied cars(you get Daytona prototypes & Corolla & Murcielago all in GT300 class), most exclusive attacking & defending battles (using GT300 vehicles to block the line & so on), and most terrible incidents (check out Testuya Ota's crash) I love JGTC/Super GT. But Gran Turismo probably isn't decisive enough to print a copy of everything in Super GT in game. So...you get the idea.

I think each of them has unique chassis and suspension set-up in real life, so I think in terms of handling is the real difference between them...

The cars in real life are super close.....The Xanavi Nismo Z 06 has a slight performance advantage in the game that DID NOT exist in real life. How do I know that? Because they didn't win the championship that year. They came in like 5th place.

The Lexus Super GT cars are too slow....The GT 300 class cars are too slow.... The slight advantage the Nissan has means its the only Super GT car anyone uses online. Which is farcical.

I'm no SuperGT expert, but you can have the better car and still not win the championship. If it was purely a numbers game they'd take the car out on a skidpad, toss it on a dyno, compare numbers and award the trophy.

Super GT gives weight handicaps to each vehicle according to their points, making sure fierce competition throughout the season. So yes, the vehicle's factor is minimised by regulations.
However you can still manage to find better cars in the first and last round's Super Lap qualifying sessions & actual race where no weight handicap is given. There're years which are easy to find out the fastest/slowest car, e.g. the reloaded GT-R in '08, and HSV-010 last year being the dominant, and ARTA Garaiya last year or Z4 in '09 being obviously very slow in their class. In '08 Nismo GT-R managed a consecutive win which is almost impossibe to achieve, proving how much work has Nismo done on this machine. But in most years, e.g. 06 and 09 where SC430 got the drivers' champion it's hard to tell.

About Xanavi Nismo Z, it was not the most competitve car throughout the 06 season, though it managed a win in Round 8. There are faster Zs in the Nissan camp, and the NSX was really quick. And the champ car Tom's SC430 was extremely lucky, the Nismo Z collided with Raybrig NSX and NSX received a drivethrough penalty...no points in the last round gave the Tom's a no-win champion by one point (Tom's SC finished 4th, never a top finish throughout the season, such a Super GT thing to happen).

You should check the Online Racing sub-forum: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=186465

Like any racing, it's the organisation, participation and racers themselves that make the races. PD has provide us with some of the cars and some of the track, it's up to us to make it exciting. Unfortunately the WSGTC has closed its registration but looking at the work Masi_23 has put into it, I have no doubt this will be a successful series.

Maybe slightly off topic but is there anywhere I can watch SuperGT races, ideally with english subtitles or voice over? Just about the only exposure I have to it is through racing sims. I've found a few highlight clips on youtube but that's it.

When I tested GT300, The Cuzco Subaru was a huge Understeering mess (hated it), the Lexus was an Oversteering mess, and the ARTA and RE Amenia were very on par as speed and handling go

Rather sure it's no more aired to Europe, not sure about the States.

From my limited understanding, the NSXs have the handling advantage, the GT-Rs have the acceleration advantage, and the SC-430s have a mix of the two. That's probably wrong, though.

SuperGT is shown sparingly in the US on SPEED Channel. It usually is shown literally in the middle of the day on a weekday (anywhere between 12 and 4 PM), but it is less frequent during the NASCAR season.

I thought the Subaru was great until I compared it to the others. Then it became an understeering mess. I found the Garaiya premium version to be the best of the bunch followed by the RE AMenia premium version and wedsport celica and then the garaiya standard version.

i only own 2 super GT cars, both are GT-Rs. One i bought the other i won; so i dont have alot of experience or knowledge with them but from doing TONS of remote races with a bunch of Bobs is that generally the NSXs are faster. a low level bob can climb up the positions in an NSX but will fall back in the other cars. High level bobs destroy the competition in the NSXs and came gain a few positions in the GTRs and maintain or loose just a few spots in the SCs. Makes sense that the NSX is faster it's an MR car.
but that is just a trend i see in the remote races.
The cars arent just cut and paste copies with different liveries on the outside. The interiors are different among the same cars, like one NSX to another NSX. Different teams different button layouts and steering wheels, notes and labels. Which i'm glad PD didnt take a shortcut on it, even though i would prefer the LMPs/Group-Cs ot be premium over the Super GTs.

They all seem to match up, ive seen hondas take the lead n win ive seen the lexus' do it, and ive seen nissan... so i dont know!
I prefer the Lexus racers tho :)
