Different Color Forumla GT Cars?

I really don't get it. It is a little painful, but I've grinded the American Championship race for the past hour which takes 4 minutes + loading times and pays 98,000 credits. I was able to do the race 12 times in one hour, so 1,176,000 credits/hr which equals about 4 hours of grinding time to have the funds necessary to purchase the car, IF you started from a 0 balance. But, you'd already have to be level 24 to even purchase it, so if you were like me, you already had about 2,500,000 cr. saved up before grinding it out for the FGT.


Can you even gift that car to someone who is not level 24??? Wouldn't that be funny... Pay more for the car than the game itself and you STILL have to grind it out to use it!! :scared:
 
Saw an FGT a day or so after I got the game. I wasn't a high enough level but sure enough it was blue, And I bought mine a day or 2 back and yep you guessed blue again :(

Don't forget you can import GTPSP save. So yeah, it's possible to have other colors, just not from the UCD (for now).
I regret selling my PSP now :( I had 2 FGT (one in yellow and one in white)

5 refreshes for full car list. I had to do this constantly for 4 hours for the car to show up! So that's 95 times and 2850 cars. Guess I was just unlucky!

You need to see the loading bars 5 times.

It's too bad the premium Ferrari F10 car wasn't the car to be raced in that Championship. Would have much rather have raced that!

Then that probably would have qualified as a Grand Prix, which Polyphony do not have the rights to.
 
Finally got mine!! Had to do the refresh probably 10 times, wasn't too bad. My first race was the 3rd round of the Super GT series, 10 laps. YES!! I lapped a couple of cars twice. Lol.

The AI's cars are different, they seem to appear in a number of preset colors which are different from what you'll see in the used car lot.

I'm still looking for confirmation that used cars only appear in one set color for every player though. I'm 90% sure that every time you see a car in the used lot it'll be the same color, I'm just trying to establish whether that color is the same for every player. For example I've only seen the C5 Z06 in red, is it also red for everyone else or does it only appear yellow/blue/etc. for some people?

The Formula GT supports this but it may just be a unique car in that aspect.
 
I've seen the FGT in the used car lot 3 times now and each time it was blue, thus, mine is blue. I don't know where he got this FGT from , but I shouldn't be amazed on the bidding for it. If anyone thinks something is rare on eBay, they pounce on it like crazy.

I'm looking at one right in the UD and its blue... such a shame i dont have the money and need it now for the FGT champ.

This is actually a mistake from PD, Phoenix Yellow is a Honda color, and they didn't give the Acura Type R Integra '01 the Phoenix Yellow like they should have, and it suck because I have PY Type R Integra. 👎👎 Way to drop the ball PD, on my ****ing face!
