OP barely makes the gold time, sees someone else has gone 6s faster, and assumes the time gap is because that person is using aids. And then comes on here to moan about it.
Firstly, if you're barely making the gold time and you're using a wheel, you're average at best... you're certainly not fast.
Sorry to be brutal, but gold times on license tests, missions and track experiences are, with a couple of exceptions, easy.
Go back to GT1/2/3/4, and alot were incredibly tough. But since GT5, they have been dumbed down to the point that pretty much anyone can achieve them with a bit of effort.
I'm middling fast, and passed a lot of the tests 1st attempt, some by a very big margin.
On to aids...
Traction control does not make you faster. It might make a car easier to control, but it doesn't increase exit speed.
There are mixed opinions on counter steer assist. Some people don't like it, and it doesn't make them faster. Others have a different opinion.
Personally, I can run the same lap times with or without it when hot lapping, but I use it on-line as it gives me an extra layer of security when racing closely with other cars, and helps minimise the risk of contact.
Suggesting that the reason someone is 5-6s faster than you because they are either using aids or have the corner indicators on just shows how little understanding you have of just how fast some people are in this game.
You might think you're fast, but unfortunately you're not.
Do you really think the guy 5-6s faster than you would lose that time if he switched off the corner indicators?
