Looks like Saddams left the building, or at least some of the Iraqi's think so. I really enjoyed waking up to some old shiite dude beating on Saddams picture with a shoe, the first time in his life he felt free to express himself. So what now ? No more Iraqi Bob to tell us we are not there and no more grilled stomache's.
I wonder what the rest of the Arabs that are watching celebrating Iraqi's are going through. Must be fairly mixed emotions. Freedom looks pretty good from here.

It's not over yet,.. we still have to convince them that we're not going to do the same things or things similar. Most are still skeptical of us I think. In fact, I dont think we're going to see 100% positive feedback.

I'm very happy for the people of Iraq, lets hope they take advantage of the siuation we put them in.

I was REALLY hoping that Saddam would be stung up by his own people. If the rest of the contry saw that hapen, I think the transition would occur much faster and more smoothly.

We sort of know what some Iraqi's feel about them..they were parading around with a sign that said;
"Go Home U S Human sheilds Wankers "

Yeah, notice one person in particular is pretty mum.

Hey, keeno, what's your take on all this? Seems to me there are plenty of Iraquis moving around now without getting shot...

Today was a great day, One Arab T V station has already gone on record as saying that today will alter politics forever in that region. hopefully we will have the same success in transplanting Democracy as we had in Japan and Germany . A Democratic Iraq will be a force for change in the region much to the discomfort of the surrounding countries. I guess now we will just have a bunch of freedom loving Arabs who don't like us .
