You dont see much remakes or remaster of racing games due to licensing.

NFS Hot Pursuit 2010 remastered lost Slr Mclarens and Carbon Motors due to licensing issues or brands getting defunct.

Not really. The games were good, they hold up well enough today, but they’re not the sort of games that really need remasters and licensing would make it difficult anyway.

Dirt 5 isn’t a million miles away from Dirt 2 anyway. Dirt 4 pretty close to Dirt 1 and so on.
