Why are car bonus higher than others, i'm talking about the standard ones you choose before entering a track on the tour. I thought it was hp & handling etc. but cars with low hp = low bonus points and vice versa

I've noticed it the other way. Less HP gets a higher bonus because its harder to win, but maybe I don't know how to read. Ha-ha I pay no attention anymore.

Well, I believe it goes by sponsorship, i.e. liveries. So as you "unlock" a higher sponsor, you'll get more bonus. That's at least how I interpreted it.

That's probably it. Whoever paid CM more, they gave you higher XP for using there car. But I look at the track not the car.

The bonus doesn't give you that significant amount of a boost. You'll reach Level 30 eventually anyway. No rush :)

Oh yeah, as long as you plan to play through offline, and even some online, you'll get to 30 easily. I got there before finishing offline, and you get a bunch of offline xp when you play online too. I could probably be up to 100 in my offline rank by now.

I got the pre-order liveries and they give you 2,500 xp for each objective completed, it definitely helps with levelling up!

Actually, I suspect the money paid has more to do with the number of cars available and the relative skill of the drivers. For example, both the DC and Monster Energy (both companies sponsor Ken Block) teams have very good drivers, Roland Holzer and Graeme Halliday, but Rockstar - one of Monster's rivals - has a very poor driver in Greg Spengler.

Of only there was a way to mod the driver profiles in-game ... I'm sick of always seeing the same guys at the front.

Actually, Ken Block owns DC (at least partly, he is a co-founder) so of course he's sponsored by DC. Just side note.

What? Nicking the rear quadrant of another car causing them to spin out? On Loose road surfaces? I think not ;)
