I will only seek revenge if it was a blatant ram, like the other day on Infenion (sp?) and I got ahead of him on the second lap, on the last lap he waited for the last turn and just rammed me into the wall at about 180mph, I ended up on my roof and he took the win, sent him a rather nasty message and he just laughed at me, then he voted to kick me and everyone agreed (WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

I think I've now found my place in the Forza LeMans hopper, not a single incident last night in 4 races apart from the dodgy AI apart from one guy in an F430 blocking me like crazy in my Lola for some strange reason (all the rest of the guys left plenty of room for the higher classes to pass), it stops all the idiots who think their 1,000,000bhp Dodge Viper with stock brakes and tyres can out brake an F458 Italia

Had a horrible day online today, pretty much every room I was in I ended up getting kicked out of because I seemed to in the middle of every bit of dirty driving today and as a result seemed to get the blame for it all :(

Know the feeling, had a sesh online like that the other day, quite frustrating to say the least! :banghead:

Gave online a new try yesterday...... Shouldnt have!

1 guy tried to block me as My Mustang Gt 65 was way faster then him on the straights he then turned right in front of me but did the misstake to hit my front with his rear and he spun out, served him right but after two laps he cought up with me in the cornes and in the last corner he just rammed me at full speed of the track.:banghead:

Rammers will kill this game, they need to add penaltys like in GT5:

You ram= you cant accelarate for 5 sec

Cut a corner= see above etc.

For me, it's usually the case of the faster LMP classes ramming the GT classes out of the way when I try the Forza Le Mans rooms.

Out of about 7 races last night, I think only one was a bad race, which consisted of me in a DBR9, and to other guys in P1 and P2, when they caught up to me they just kept ramming me :banghead:

Have you guys tried cycled production? I was in there for about 2 hours, mostly clean racers in there. Maybe because you get given a car to use, so kids aren't interested if they can't use their fully nodded veyron.
Good numbers too, even had a thunderbird race with 16 cars, lots of fun, and body roll

I played that hopper in FM3 and it was great. Even if you're ranked LEGEND there is no guarantee you'll win!

That first youtube vid is exactly why I don't bother racing online. Why should I waste my time with a bunch of idiots who have no intention of racing but simply turning the whole thing into Destruction Derby? Sod that.

That lobby I was in might have been a bit of a fluke. I had to leave to have dinner, and when I came back it was a destruction derby. I stuck it out though, and after a few races it ended up pretty decent again

Just got done with an online race, and here are some videos from my experience. The first video, I'm the camera car, just facing backwards. This is what I saw in my rear view mirror.

Loved the video, wish I could see more of it.

In all seriousness, I think thats part of the problem with the collision system in this game. Its definitely not very punishing, in fact if you start out racing against the AI on world tour it almost seems to encourage you playing destruction derby to win if needed, and obviously online most players are far superior to the AI, so "if you cant beat 'em, cheat 'em."

I dont really race online, mostly because I dont have hardly any RL friends that play Forza or other racing games (I have 1 friend who barely plays the game), but I'd be willing to play with some clean racers.

I'm not very good, and probably will lose, but I dont race dirty (at least intentionally, I'm still getting used to the slippery feel of Forza 4 vs Shift 1&2). Gamertag is the same as the name.

It seems difficult to find a good collision balance, Forza seems too rewarding and Shift 2 was insanely punishing (to the point that even gentle nudges/paint scrapes could totally wreck both cars)

Just need to take it into your own hands and try to arrange regular meeting times for like minded folk (such as those on here and GTP) to gather together and have some races.

You can't trust randoms in Forza, they're 100x worse than the randoms in GT.

I find the lower the class the better the racing, but this isn't fool-proof.

A-class was a no-go area in FM3 for me and usually where all the complaints of dirty racing came from, the "kids" think that's where all the cool and fast cars were so that's where they head. They're not usually interested in racing slow eco-boxes or anything slower than a 500bhp WRX.

Cycled production was usually a good hopper when it first started out (FM3) as it attracted people interested in serious fair racing. You'll find the more popular a hopper is, the more chance of idiots.

The key to racing in User-created lobbies is to start one off with a few friends, race then see if any people have joined and ready to start the next race. Start off with shorter races so people won't get bored of waiting. Don't be scared to start the race with only one person, you may be surprised how close the race finished. Quality> quantity.

Top tip: Don't get frustrated. Don't go into any race expecting 100% clean driver. Don't give up racing On-line, if all the clean racers give up the less chance we all have of meeting up. Every once in awhile you'll find yourself in a lobby you won't want to leave. I find when the racing is good, it's really good. I'm willing to endure the idiots for those moments.
