Disable bluetooth signal PS3 (slim)

- The black cable goes from the AC socket to the motherboard and then to one of the antennas.
- The white cable goes directly from the motherboard to the other antenna.
EDIT: as far as I can see, you can remove the bluetooth/wifi antenna and board entirely from the PS3 (fat older version, not the PS3 slim).

Out of curiosity. Are you going to get a PS3 now have the information you wanted? And which model? A new PS3 slim which has bluetooth on the main circuit board or an older fat second hand PS3 of which you can remove the bluetooth circuit board?

And I agree that bluetooth (micro wave) is dangerous but not coming from a PS3, which you don't use all the time and which you can put at a particular safe distance (if you lenghten the cables) from your body and which you can switch off by unplugging the PS3 (but this solution doesn't seem good enough for you => sarcasm on your part). Don't underastimate the natural healing/recuperation of the human body.

Not to throw fuel of the fire, but do PS3 pads have a BT reciever and transmitter in them too? So just removing it from the PS3 is only half the job, even if you use it wired, it's still receiving power, and because it's in your hands isnt this more of a problem?

Before knowing about the dangers of wireless devices I bought a XBOX 360. It cost me 400€. I try to turn it on. After connected to the plug for some seconds (I didn’t even turn it on) it started emitting radiation. I forgot that it used wireless controllers.
I used to love playing computer games, so I was wondering, does the same thing happens with the PS3? is there any way of turning the wireless/Bluetooth and Wifi off on a PS3 fat model? If it is possible I will buy one for me second hand.

No it does not. I have a EMF RF meter, and a gauss meter. If you buy one, you will see for your own eyes that you are in fact emerged in a sea of radio frequency, when you use wireless devices. LCDs emits almost none radiation.

Look up in the sky during daylight. See that big glowing thing, the Sun, it's pumping out a lot more radiation that you're PS3.
See that energy saving light bulb you've put in? Well that'll save some C02. But that new coal burning power station China builds every week will pump out a lot more.
