Disable vehicle horn?

Is there any way to disable the horn in the game? I use the DS3 and everytime I have to make a sharp turn I'm also blaring on the horn from pressing the controller down. What is the purpose of the horn in this game anyways?

Just go into the control settings and remove it from L3

You could reconfigure the buttons on your DS3 in options from the main menu. 👍

It'll never be removed, because then, all those DFGT wheel users won't have a use for that big, illuminated GT button

My wife was in fits of laughter as I'd come into a corner hot, slam the brakes, blare the horn and turn the wipers on all at once.

Soon after that I reconfigured controls, I've mapped the horn to up on the D-Pad and Wipers to R1, rear view moved to down (I have left as left view and right as right view so this kind of makes sense).

i found the wiper button very annoying as r3. but that was just one race, im on the wheel now

I had the problem with wipers. When I get stressed I press in the sticks... so I had to remap that one. Don't plan to be playing on the DS3 forever fortunately...
