disappearing cars?

Some vehicles don't explode first time - I've had Police cars, FBI Ranchers, FBI Cheetahs, Barracks OLs and that ropey minivan all bounce off me first time - only to subsequently explode in a blaze of glory... It happens.

I've had Rhino's bounce off and they just don't wan't toexplode either...more than just bouynce off the first tiem....oh wait i get it!
 
I don't see any problem with the far left Sunshine Autos garage. It's perfectly fine, and I have a FBI Washington and a Taxi stored in there. Guess I'lll have to try out the Love Fist and the Hearse.

The ropey old minivan... The one you see LOTS of when you're high up in the Vigilante missions. Can't remember the name...
 
The Moonbeam? That's about the only 'minivan looking' thing in VC that I know of.

I like to do a slight drive-by to people driving those then with some luck the driver will freak out and hammer it instead of stopping and running away. Half of the time they'll roll the thing over when they steer into something, then I watch them casually get out of the rolled vehicle and soar through the air as the following explosion sends them flying. :lol:
 
Moonbeam - that's the kiddy.

I've only got as far as "D" on my vehicles description for my site... :D
 
well there is one I know of (the name escapes me right now) but its the minivan lookin thing that has the random logos on it (sometimes its a really odd sounding gas company..). I've seen the moonbeam, it looks like the old one in GTA3 lol... not what I'd call "ropey"

and how high is "high" in the vigilante? I've only gotten up to like level 3... I've not gotten the hunter yet hah
 
Brown Thunder high is over level 400. I barely got to level 100. But with the hunter, you in the air with missles an on-board minigun 400 isn't so hard.
 
ah I see. Well, I've been doing it with the default "Police" and once or twice with the "Enforcer" :lol:

EDIT: (refering to the post below) Yeah, but it *looks* like a minivan as much as a moonbeam does.. they both look more like full size vans to me.

@Famine -- just hit me.. Did you mean the Blista Compact when you spoke of the "ropey minivan"? (not that it is a minivan in particular, looks like an old civic but it USED to be one ;)... or rather WILL be one :lol: )
 
How high for Brown Thunder? Just check the Record Book :D

The Minivan psonefreak is reffering to is actually not a Minivan but rather more of a service vehicle. It's called a Rumpo.

I already said it was a Moonbeam.

There's clearly some terminological problem here - "ropey minivan" = dodgy looking van-with-windows-and-7-seats

The Rumpo (with the gas company logo) is a van, as is the Pony. The Blista Compact is a CRX...

First time I saw it made me think of a Ferrari F40... the front does kinda look like a Delorean but the rear looks more F40-ish than Skyline-ish

and you know, the last garage at sunshine ate my car too. I had a sentinal xs and virgo in there and when I was using the last empty one to grab a FBI ranger I ran by it and it opened and the sentinal was gone :(

You can get a Sentinel XS anytime you want at the first parking lot you see when you head to Escobar International.
 
oh its not that... it was just the right color... I don't see them in that color often (it was dark green) and I found another one though hah. ... plus I was mostly just sayin it cuz one of the sunshine garages ate a car that wasn't that specific combo of cars.

and the ranger thing was a mistype.. I think I wrote that post when I was extremely tired (as if I ain't now -_- )


Even though I have them in my garage, what's the REAL point in it? I mean you don't wanna take the cars out (like the Love Fist or white Admiral) cuz ya might loose them. At least some of those kinda things wouldn't be super bad because it wouldn't be hard work to get one but like if you get a FBI Rancher and use it for vigilante and it gets blown up then there goes ALLL that hard work to get one:p

**** **** ****, I worked my butt of to get those cars and "romeos herse (horse, whatever^^), and then one day they were just gone, greeaaaat.

and naah, I dont wanna use cheats, never done it, and almost finished the game^^
 
that would be fun.. heh..

Oh, and is it just me, or does sonny forelli look like donald love with more weight? I thought that when I first saw him..:odd:
