To debate which is best, race or road cars is meaningless. Some like blondes, brunettes, pale, dark, tall, short, etc. The world is full of differencies and that is a beautiful thing. Nothing is right or better, just different.
Personally I like to race race cars in league racing. GT5 proveded en excellent class with GT500/GT300. Many differerent brands and liveries. We could create a big field where we been driving differerent but evenly matched cars. Its been great.
But we have raced these cars to death now and would have liked a fresh set of new race cars to race with.
In league racing (many hosted on GTPLanet) I would prefer to have focus on one class. 25 race cars from different classes doesn't give me anything. If they would have given lets say 10 GT3 cars that would have been great. Or 10 fresh 2012 GT500 cars, or 10 late model DTM cars (BMW, Merc, Audi in different liveries), I would been a happy camper. As it now stands, I cannot see us going racing with new fresh set of evenly matched race cars from one class.
