Disc Cleaning.

I have recently found a great way to clean/remove small scratches in any disc. Buy some Pledge Natural Beauty Furniture Polish. Wipe it on with toilet paper and let it dry. Its works great! If you want it to work on bigger scrathes put more coats on it.
 
Turtle wax works good too. But i recommend not doing any of these methods with a PS3 disc

Waxing cars. And if you go to say a CD store that has a buffer. Usually you will see Mother's car polish. But the reason you do not buff a PS3 disc is because of the layers on the disc. Considering how hard it is to scratch a Blue Ray to the point of not playing (basically your own fault of neglect if it does happen)
