I don't ever recall Rockstar releasing the PC version yet (they definitely should very soon though).

I read this a couple of times and this surprises me a bit. I would expect it to be the other way around. For instance, with NFSMW 2012, the PSN version was noticeably better than the disk version because it could load textures from HDD faster than from the disk, resulting in less pop in of textures/objects.

Does the disk version allow a full HD install?

It's only 8gb install for Disc version, I haven't found anything about full install onto HD. I am hoping my SSD will come into play here. Will see about it tonight.

I was also under impression that digital version should be better, at least with pop ups, due to HD being faster to stream

I got my copy in my mail but im far from home to get started yet.. With the disc and all.... Can you choose between installing the game with the disc or to download it? If so, I will defently considering to download the game as my hdd is 500GB I got plenty of space

Played it yesterday, i had non problems. Slight pop ups but nothing special, noticed them only when i was looking for them.
