which one are you going to choose?
waiting in the freezing cold for a midnight launch?
Downloading all night on digital download?

I would hold off on the download. With the problems the Xbox version is having, I would be worried about system bandwidth issues.

im waiting for the local library to get it, then renting for ps3, in the meantime asking some special friends with the pc version to do some tinkering :D

I'll definitely install via disc. I have constant internet, but I'd rather avoid downloading a game as big as GTA V.

I don't ever recall Rockstar releasing the PC version yet (they definitely should very soon though).

Im doing disc since I need to keep the space open for GT6

Doing the digital copy. I'll start it at 1 after 12, set the ps3 to shut off once its done, and after work I'll blow $h!t up.

Supposedly it is going to be a whopping 30GB+ download. I don't have a problem downloading it, but I would rather have a disc.

Disc has resale value

PSN version is really expensive! Sony the gougers
Full HD install has pop up

I downloaded it this weekend of psn. I played it this morning. Only for about 40 minutes, but it is has been great. Can't wait to come home from work.

Any noticeable pop ins of objects!?

I read this a couple of times and this surprises me a bit. I would expect it to be the other way around. For instance, with NFSMW 2012, the PSN version was noticeably better than the disk version because it could load textures from HDD faster than from the disk, resulting in less pop in of textures/objects.

Does the disk version allow a full HD install?

It's only 8gb install for Disc version, I haven't found anything about full install onto HD. I am hoping my SSD will come into play here. Will see about it tonight.

I was also under impression that digital version should be better, at least with pop ups, due to HD being faster to stream

I got my copy in my mail but im far from home to get started yet.. With the disc and all.... Can you choose between installing the game with the disc or to download it? If so, I will defently considering to download the game as my hdd is 500GB I got plenty of space:)

There is some yes. Mostly details on some of the bigger buildings jn the far distance. Nothing I didn't expect.

Played it yesterday, i had non problems. Slight pop ups but nothing special, noticed them only when i was looking for them.
Great game :-)
