Disc Read Error already

just bought the new redesigned ps2 about 3 months ago and last nightwhen i tried to play san andreas i got the disc read error. i tried all my games and none worked. the discs are all clean and barely any scrathces. anybody have the same probelms yet? it was a good thing i paid an extra 25 bucks to get the replacement program at the store. F'ing ridiculous
