well lets hope someone at Codemasters/SMS takes this in and reads what you guys are all telling them and they develop a game/s that people will pick up and want to buy, even if it has a few bugs and needs refining, instead of trying to dictate to you guys what in SMS' opinion is what you guys "need in a sim".
FWIW my thoughts would be:
PCARS4_SMS
This would be a true Serious Motorsport Simulator, of the same pedigree as PCARS2 but totally revamped to make use of the new console generation. Improvements in the Madness engine to optimise and remove the shortcomings of PCARS2.
Include a Livery editor, this appears to be a success in PCARS3.
vehicle Handling models, physics, SETA tyre model, Livetrackx, pit stops, vehicle degradation, etc all to make a full return and all to cater for an immersive motor sport enthusiasts experience.
Enhanced Multiplayer, with latest tech netcode and heavily biased towards Leagues and Esports comps.
revamped matchmaking.
Cater for the wheel guys, but still have controller support as well.
Real life car classes, etc etc.......make it something enthusiasts really want to get their grubby race gloves onto!
Solid Career Mode perhaps around an upcoming Junior driver, with some motorsport management builtin as well, (reference the F1 2020, DIRT 2.0 Codies are good at this type of integration)
And now
PCARS4_FUN
This one would take all the good stuff from PCARS3 and improve further on it.
Even better controller support, with ability to configure a wheel (but will be much better played with a controller to be honest)
Short fun and exciting events same as whats in PCARS3
Now include a "Car Creator"!!
This would be somthing similar to Targems Crossout (which I find is a lot of fun and there are some amazing creations that guys do)
If you want to put buggy wheels on an F! and drive it around Bathurst then go for it!!
If you want to put a triple turbo on a V12 and then chuck it in a Mini Cooper, and see how it handles on a wet track at Knockhill....by all means give it a try!!
I think guys would have a lot of fun sharing and making some wild and fantastic creations.
Mostly online racing, with test tracks available offline.
The races would be very interesting and fun too.
Damage and deformation models will be highly detailed so parts come flying off as you get hit or collide into barriers.
Some races will be like Demolition Derbys........online events could have goals, to reach achievements which would award credits to buy/craft new parts, etc.
Packs can be sold which include parts, paints, decorative items etc to increase life expectancy of game.
Anyway its just my thoughts, and I'll be upfront and say I dont own or plan on owning PCARS3 as I already have PCARS1 and 2 and I think there are enough games that are already similar to PCARS3 that I already have.
