Good start!

I have some tips for you:

1. When in Photomode, try to set your Exposure Value (e.v.) to either +0.03 to +0.07 depending on where you are, It helps to brighten up the pictures without the aid of Photoshop.

2. Read the Compose and Expose sticky on the forum to get a good idea on what people will find interesting in a gallery.

3. Try to stick to photodrive as it allows more creative freedom and gets you more interesting shots. (note: in the jukebox, empty your playlist so when you use the dive replay (square button) the camera will stick to a particular view until you press x.)

4. Arrange your gallery in such a way that it generates interest, for example, instead of naming your gallery "xxx's gallery" try giving it a unique name like for example my gallery: "S12ken's Dreamscape". Also try to find your style, a lot of us here use the blur/soft focus effect, it looks pretty but unless you execute it properly it gets boring really fast, each of us here have our own individual styles, browse around and you will see what i am talking about.

5. And lastly, don't be afraid to ask us to visit your gallery from time to time, it's not shameless marketing, rather its more of inviting us to come and view your work, do not be afraid of critiszm (speeling :yuck: ) it will just help you grow as an artist.

well that's all i have to say and good luck with your gallery! :D:tup:

It's good to see we've got a new gallerist here. Remember, only the sky is the limit!

Nice start mate. I look forward to seeing future updates.

First, take more pictures. Then take more pictures and after that take more pictures. After you have finished that take some more pictures... Got the point? ;)

Thanks man. Hey, can everyone tell me what to imporve on? Thanks if you can.

I would say that you need to ask yourself for each pic you take/post, "What does this bring to the table? How does this establish me as a better photographer?"

I can see by the shots you included that although they are all different, they are all the same. Strive to be unique, original... do something first, introduce something new to us.

Finally got my update!! Worked kind of hard on these pics. I was slacking most of the time trying to eat my dinner and stuff...Well here's my yellow Intera Type-R and my black Honda Civic EG6:

Thanks to kennythebomb for letting me use his style pic with the cones...

Here are my EG pics now:

Got new pics this morning. I was bored and before I left for church I did these. They came out kind of whack...But I don't know, it's worth a try.

blue Honda NSX

silver Nissan Silvia S14 K's Aero

Nice Updates! but somehow i feel some of your pictures lack a little color but that's just me.

Honda person huh? hehe :D:tup:

I dunno, somehow, most of your photos aren't vivid enough for me, it must be the track, i dunno, if that's your style then don't mind me... thinking of doing a honda update next weeknd :D

Haha awesome. I think it's cause I put one shade of the blue on. I like that rainy color kind of weather or something, I don't know how to pronounce it.

Well it seems you followed my advice and took some more pictures. Nice work, you have more pictures than I do now. 👍

just for fun today, i took the integra type-r (the yellow one i posted) and went on tsukuba circuit and challenged the world record on it. The world record is 1'03.955 in the JGTC category and the JUN Integra (usdm rsx) ran 1'05.266. i got 1'01.291...

i know for some of you this isn't interesting but you don't get where i coming from...

I like how you used the background in your pics as a key character, something more people should do. I encourage you to keep experimenting with the scenery. Just be sure to keep your aperture down.

What s12ken said about color (by the way his name is Kenny too) is that with a photo editing program you can take your photos and through saturation and such make them look better.

I use an easy to use program called Picasa 2, free and done by google.

Yours

Mine

It took roughly three minutes to do that.

Now THAT'S usefull info, I get so frustrated with this because it nevre stays on the camera long enough for me... lol, No this is a cool idea...

And very NICE pics iJDM14... 👍 :sly:

My advise is on brightness, get it up to ev 1.0 and you'll see how they turn out on the PC... they'll look horribly bright on the TV screen  , but perfect on the PC... :dopey: 👍

well about 20 minutes before i left school, i downloaded picasa 2...and a quick pic of how you did it vixen (btw, thank you both for telling me this) i did a quick pic of the s14 here it is...

well here is the update i got...I'm going to keep on working on better angles and other variations...but any ways here...it's new to GTP i think, never seen it done...will work on one big pic after...

I call it a "trail" pic

There are some programs like Animation Shop to use or you could ask one of GTPlanet's own specialists to make it for you.
