Recently I've received the following install dialog several times while browsing the GTP forums:

installdialog6xp.gif

Now, I can't guarantee that it is GTP that is sending this through (I'm on a public computer so there's no telling how much spyware is on here), but it's only happened while I've been on GTP, and nowhere else. I've been on several different computers in the same institution and have seen the same thing, so I doubt it's spyware on this end. Here I'm using Windows 2000 and I've got XP at home, so whether that makes a difference or not I'm not sure.

Obviously I've never installed this thing so I have no idea what it actually is/does, but I thought I better let you admin people know as it seems to me to be on the nastier end of the scale. The "FOR ADULTS ONLY" line sums it up for me I think.

That's a dialer application. It installs a new network connection that connects via a premium-rate phone line to the "provider".

Quite obviously, the button you should click is "No". I would be extremely surprised if it originated from GTP, since Jordan has spent a considerable amount of time tuning the ads served here to ensure appropriacy of content.

Gtp won't evan work at our school it's blocked becuse it contains 'gameing' which is banned.:(
