I am not sure if I am reliable enough for anything more than texter… but I can try and save replays as a back up for Now and see how it goes lol

Thank you. You should save your replays anyhow.

I will be a little late opening the D3 lobby.

What time is late
I opened the lobby at 19:26 MDT. Racing is scheduled to start at half past. I typically have the lobby open at 19:00 MDT but I was running late getting home in time thus the message I posted at 17:13. By the time you posted your message I had already opened the Division 3 lobby. I'm sorry you missed racing tonight.

I eventually had a good time, after I got the combo 1 blues out of the way. I had good battles with all at some point or another. I did nudge TrackKing a bit, but no harm, no foul. :D And a big apology to @JLBowler for my snarky comment about start lines. I simply did not read the 'start' post to the end and was out to lunch. However, I would still suggest that the lead driver indicate verbally when it's hammer time.

Welcome to Snail and I'm sorry I missed your debut. I noticed you posted this after the lobby was open. Make sure you refresh the 'friends' lobby list frequently when waiting. Triangle button.

The lead driver can say go when he reaches the start line as long as he then mutes his mic for the rest of the race. It is not required for the lead driver to say anything, it's not even required for all drivers to have a mic (just be able to listen).

All hosts should be checking cars to make sure they are correct and conforming. Add on body parts are not allowed. Widebody modification is not allowed. Different car models are not allowed.
Just a reminder to D3. I’m not even changing the wheels anymore, I’ve noticed it affects the weight of the vehicle.

This week we started the races with a horn blast in vehicles that were equipped. Seemed to help.

It's even easier if everyone just knows where the start point is and starts the race at that point.

Not when there’s an arbitrary starting point at a bridge or banner that doesn’t show on the mini map.

A bridge or banner that goes over the width of the track is a pretty obvious landmark. It's not like I'm picking a spectator in the trees and saying this is where we start.

I get it but when I'm in the back it is difficult for me to know when the leading vehicle reaches that point. My depth perception isn't the greatest and in a 2D video game even less so.

If you're in the back, you should be watching the car in front of you as no passing is allowed until you reach the start point.

Superb. Good thing for me there’s been a low turn out.

Link to SNAIL Data I've been entering data for D3 recently and I have found certain things of interest, eg. that people's FLs are often quite close, in some races on Aug 14th they were within a second. Pretty close. The link I provided can be found on the "Snail Season Standings" page. I believe you have to be logged in to Google as the data sheet is a Google doc. When the page is fully loaded (it takes a couple of seconds) the bottom toolbar has dates and divisions, these are the data sheets, which may or may not have data entered. They are read only.

Can someone else host D3 tonight? I don’t think I’ll be able to race this evening.

I have a wired connection for my PS5. I'm willing to host, but we will also need a scorekeeper. Can @JLBowler help out. Regarding scoring: do you have any hints @Skills ? I already do data, and that's a big job. I do, however, have access to the Sunday scoring sheets. Does anyone else in D3 have access to the Sunday score sheets?
