I'm thinking of using a car dashboard in a project, hence this bump- any users on here got any insight into this?

Well I figured some stuff on my own.

I ordered a "test" instrument cluster (really cheap), to test if the Rev Burner works etc..

Pleased to announce that it is, so I ordered a second one, to get working tacho and speedo side by side (I currently have to switch between them).

Then I'll order a proper instrument cluster, with matching dashboard, OMP racing seat etc...

I had to make my own wires off an old USB cable, which is a pain if you haven't got a wire stripper.

When the cluster arrived, I had to investigate a little bit to work out how to connect the ground, power, and signal cables to the Rev Burner, but it should be do-able with most "electronic" instrument clusters.

Thanks for that :)
I think I might have to try this with the build I want to do- Del Sol dashboard and centre console. I already have a car seat- more comfy and cheaper than a bucket seat is the way to go imo:

I had an idea that I'm not sure how well it could work- fitting a fan inside the dashboard aimed at the dash heater vents with a switch wired to the dash hehe- what you reckon??

The whole heater matrix with all the pipes and valves, I think, would be too big and unnecessary. Only the fan that is in it. :)
