DLC deleted all of my tracks

0 Tracks. Nothing, old or new. Ive tried everything, updated to the newest version, checked and rechecked that i clicked install tracks on the DLC button on the bottom right of the opening screen. But my cars worked i just have 0 tracks in practice/arcade mode, as well as my course list. can only race in a-spec or b-spec mode, or seasonal events. I bought this **** just for Spa! everything has gone wrong with this game for me, first all the delays and such, then the account info leak. Never thought id say it but i shoulda bought an Xbox with Forza. Any info would be greatly appreciated before i really get upset and take a sledge to this pos
 
Throw away the game data (not your save game!) and reinstall the game. Should be fine afterwards.
 
feel like a noob asking, but how would i go about doing that. was actually scrolling through a few of the menus trying to find an option like that. would it be in account management?
 
First, make backup of your save, just in case. It's in the XMB under Game - > Saved Data Utility.

Then go to the Game Data Utility (a few options above the Saved Data Utility), locate the entries for GT5 (could be more than one) and delete them. Then start GT5 again, it should prompt you for update to Spec 2.0. Let it download and install all the updates and you're good to go! If you want to do the full install, make sure you have an hour or two to spare for the complete process of installing, updating and installing to HD.
 
Before you delete everything and wait for the downloads to happen again, I will ask a stupid question - you have tried shutting the whole thing down and rebooting?
