First, on the North American PSN, a pack would be released which, when downloaded, adds to your garage the Chromeline Jaaaaaaaag, the Gamestop Camry (if not already present), and any Stealth cars not already present, including the Spec V (possibly also that Spec V I've heard of which is similar to a stealth but not actually a stealth?). The price would be something low (since they're only getting the cars and not all the other extra stuff the actual CE came with) and availability could possibly be restricted to those who have already activated a Chromeline or Stealth code.

Second, on the European and Asian PSN, a pack would be released containing the Edge Camaro and (if they don't already have it) the Gamestop Camry. It would be cheaper, since they're only getting one or two cars.

Bam! All problems solved.

I'm sure this idea has come up before, but will never happen. PD and Sony need to learn that gamers HATE region specific DLC bonuses, as they have to buy multiple copies of a game and find workarounds in order to get all the items.

most times everybody who didn't get the CE or above want all the cars to be made dlc for everyone, but this is actually a good idea for the people who did do the CE and above.

Yeah, as it stands now I'll have to use methods that are probably ban-worthy to talk about (Borrow a euro account? Jailbreak a stand-alone PS3 and install the DLC cars on that? Is it OK to mention those things?) if I want to experience those cars. Also, an American player is pretty much inelligible to run the ultimate, end-all be-all tuning garage, because there will always be cars a European or Asian player can tune that he can't.

Speaking of PD and Sony learning that gamers hate that stuff... would it be allowable to talk about... starting a complete nationwide boycott of GT and of PD in general until the content becomes available here?

Lol, good luck with that boycott, I for one will be spending $12 tomorrow in DLC. Yeah region specific content sucks, but not enough to boycott.

Edit: And no, you are not allowed to talk about illegal things like jail breaking your PS3 on these forums.

One thing a can't understand, is why everyone wants the chromeline and stealth cars? If you did not buy the collectors or signature edition or preorder the game then why are you intitled to those cars if you did not want to spend more money when you first bought the game then to bad.

👍

I'm a signature edition owner. I paid good money for that poop. Don't really want rooms full of them. First come, first served.:sly:

It seems like everyday somebody is posting asking (or in some cases, demanding) that the chromeline cars or the stealths be re-released for everyone. The argument against it is probably stronger than for it. Sure, people want the cars, but there are some CE owners who would feel incredibly ripped off if the cars were given again.

If the cars were released though, a starting price of $10.99 wouldn't be unreasonable given the original purpose (Collector's Edition and Signature Edition exclusives and pre-order exclusives).

It's too late for that, those cars were unavailable (or at least not available simultaneously) in a significant chunk of the world.

If this wrong is to be righted, all that can be done is restrict downloads so that only those with a Collector's Edition code already active can download them (which kind of makes sense anyway).

(1000th post woohoo!)

Brilliant, so to correct an "issue" they should give a limited edition AND limited access DLC? I think PD should be focusing on something else. The CE and SE were announced well in advance and anyone who didn't pre-order or pony up the money for them are SOL.

Didn't you see what I said? Many people - including yourslef, since you live in America too - COULN'T pay for them before because they weren't available here. So even the people who wanted the top version and could afford it couldn't get it because region specific version! I myself paid the full $100 for the Collector's Edition (which is mor than any video game should ever cost anyway, special version or not), and I see no reason why Europe and Asia should get that stuff (and the chances that come with it) and we shouldn't.

Europe and Asia had the Collector's Edition available as well. It is not PD's fault that the buyer couldn't afford the constant price that had them being bought in America.

Where are you getting this? I'm talking about the inability to get the Signature Edition here in America. It's a higher level which came with all 6 Chromeline cars (including the Jaaaaaaaag) and all 6 original Stealth cars (only something like 3 of which were available here, and not simultaneously). The only cars Europe and Asia can't get are the Camry and the Camaro. That's exactly what I'm complaining about - EUROPE and ASIA have cars we can't have (for the record, I don't mind if they get ours as well). It has nothing to do with not buying the right edition, it has everything to do with not being able to buy the right edition because it was available everywhere but here.

Here comes the positive speculation.
It won't be anything great, I promise you that. Either something NASCAR showing PD hasn't a clue about NTSC GT players, or something other regions have already had for a long time.

If it's something the other regions have had for a long time, that probably means a Chromeline Jaaaaaaag or a Stealth car. We should have had it before, but I wouldn't complain if we were to get it now.

I think they should have a Viper RM's for the NA market they have Corvettes but not able to Racing Modify Vipers so it should be fare, and also put 2010 and 2011 Dodge Nascar vehicles.

Your not gonna get any of the se or ce cars so you can forget it.
The special surpirse will be more than likely what Cslacr said .. not a car
