Gran Turismo 7 Offline Time Trial Competition

Just wanted to ask if folks uploading replays to the GT7 showcase wouldn’t mind using the following tag:

ottcgtp

OTTC being Offline Time Trial Competiton and gtp being GTPlanet. Should be unique enough of a tag to have it only be OTTC submissions.

@jrbabbitt Nice job in the S800! I often struggle with the last section of the Porsche curves. Cool plates on the Honda too!

I’m submitting a new time:

Autodrome Lago Maggiore - East End Reverse - 500 PP category - 0:56.044

I used a Maserati A6GCS/53 Spyder. The car is tuned and I am using assists, shown in the video.

The replay is shared under the ottcgtp tag/keyword.

Also just wanted to say, if possible, going forward, if anyone submitting a time can share the replay to Showcase, or have the replay in the video with the Display Race Info option in Replay Settings set to All, so that throttle/braking is visible.

I figure it would be for the best if we end up getting lots of folks competing, it just makes it as transparent as possible to see what each member is doing driving wise.

Not that I think anyone will cheat but it just gives extra verification to avoid any situations potentially arising later on owing to not having replays with throttle/brake visible.

If you publish the replay in Showcase, please add the following tag:

Long long ago i spent time in / on Okinawa and loved driving there, so far I've only found three different plate decals from there...
I like to put them on any Japanese car I have in my garage, haven't done them all yet... lol

Great idea on the OTTCGTP tag on replay uploads, will use this, thanks

That’s awesome! I’d love to visit Japan one day. I have to say, all the vending machines are really cool lol. The scenery looks great and I’d enjoy going through the countryside and seeing the sights. I hear from a friend that it gets really hot in the summer though!

Hopefully some folks make some more plate decals.

You might be able to add plate number decals onto a white square that covers the Okinawa plate numbers?

To create new Okinawa plate numbers, I mean. I’d imagine you could find just numbers in Showcase or use another plate and block out the area code if it’s not Okinawa.

I had a good time with this entry, the Shelby Daytona Coupe.
Small note on how i am doing things in this competition. I pick a car that in stock condition and just tune everything that does NOT add any HP to stock condition and I keep it within the original PP range, if the car is 525PP stock, i will change tyres, change gearbox, suspension and such but only up to 599.99PP to keep it within the original PP range.

@jrbabbitt I've added your latest times to the board, thanks for submitting them! I'll get some in tonight as well. I actually didn't add Special Stage Route X to the leaderboards - not the most exciting lap but I'll add it nonetheless since it is a track in the game.

I try to keep the car within the original pp range without going into the next upper range and I only upgrade suspension and anything that will not increase HP above the stock number. On other cars I just keep it totally stock like in this latest entry...
