So in the recent news from kaz that there will be DLC and a hefty update, after coming round from keeling over in shock, I decided to make a thread so we could at least amuse ourselves with what could be coming for specifically the drift community.
Have fun

Seeing as some people are incapable of staying on topic and are baffled by opinions, any aggravating comments will be deleted.

honestly the dlc I think isn't going to be any use to us drifters, there is still yet a lack of features and the cars that are coming are mostly a bunch of race cars.

Sorry lads that means no conversions or swaps or making a s13 looking good or a premium supra with a widebody :(

Yea not to be a downer, but im kinda with fonsie here. He hasn't done too much to the game. Furthermore the little bit he's done is focusing on unimportant things.

Orange - Should have already been in the game.
Blue - Eh
Red - Very Important
Lime - Beyond Pointless

Simplified interior views added to all standard cars.
User control of the weather change feature.
Settings sheet which allows you to save multiple car settings.

New Spec 2.0 opening movie.
Improved UI response and usability.

Replay forward/rewind.
Mid-race save feature for endurance races.
Expanded online lounge features (narrowing down car types, shuffle races…).
Expanded Photo Travel features (you can now take photos of cars together with your avatar).
Added “NASCAR Pit Scene” stage to Photo Travel.
Added 11 new 2011 NASCAR models.
Added the Nissan GT-R N24 Schulze Motorsport (the car in which Kazunori contested the 2011 Nurburgring 24 Hours).

Improved physics and artificial intelligence.
Support for the Logitech G25/G27 steering wheel.

Nothing here is too spectacular and this was his last chance to shutdown forza fans... oh well...

However if he reads this post (which i doubt he will thats why im going to spam his twitter) KAZ THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO COMPLETE THE GAME:

The seven things that would make this complete are:

Clutch improvement for G25/G27 (And possible clutch button for the controller)
Engine Swaps
AWD/FF to RWD Conversions
Livery
Full customization on standard cars
More Tracks and Cars
And finally:

MORE DRIFTING SUPPORT

I would say we should create some sort of petition but that would probably get as far as a 2 legged moose in a greyhound race.

Epic wishlist, the inclusion of some japanese tracks would be nice like Meihan, Ebisu and Nikko circuit.

spa would also be an awesome track to drift on.

But the japanese tracks like meihan ebisu or nikko would be also very nice.

..To be honest, I'm glad GT didn't go the Forza way. Well, with the livery. Most of us GT fans are used to driving stock cars & race cars. The more cars the better no matter what!

I hope that when Kaz mentioned G25/G27 support, it would work similar to a clutch. Also, more Japanese tracks & from the U.S.

As for drift support, I would love to see couple of D1GP cars including Orido's Supra!

A nice feature would be to have a course creator but with actual freedom. With different surfaces like a carpark or a large are of tarmac, then just have movable concrete barriers and rumble strips.
Something that simple could be so fun.

my biggest item on the wishlist is to get rid of that stoopid "baby baby ooh eh ooh eh oh" song or whatever it is. that's it. I just want it to be on the fricken song list so that I can turn that garbage off . . .
any dang way,

in addition to everything that's been said so far my #2 on the wishlist would be a premium S14 . . . OR if rims + standard = yes then I guess I'd settle for that.

My wishlist is that I can roam around japan streets, whether it's the busy streets of tokyo or the windy roads in the mountains! I don't like being set with a specific track, I like to explore!

I think kaz was going to do this with spec c but honestly by the time gt6 comes out I'll be already drifting in the real world :)

Mmmmm Japan street drifting!

I click my heels together and say: I wish for BATHURST! We still wont get it but Im only wishing. I also wish for some V8 supercars and more F1. We only have the 2000 Falcon and Fezza F1 car from last year. Also the R15 which won at Le Mans in 2010 would be nice.

I believe this is a drift related wish list thread. If it wasnt, it wouldnt be in the drifting section...

Better drifting support would be good, a fix of drift scoring, premium AE86 would be nice too...

Ok sorry got carried away with the DLC. Cars from SHift 2 would be cool like the Falken Mustang and rockstar cars

I want more cars like the hyper genki silvia and the falken bp rx7

can we pl0x have as many d1gp cars as there are the same dang nascar ? ? ?

Only things I would want is Meihan, Premium AE86, 180SX, Sileighty and Supra.
And the ability to choose wichever rims I wanted for my cars without being limited to specific sets.

I don't get why people want changeable wheels on standards, all i'm picturing is an S13 with boxy GT4 style lines and a set or wheels that will never be seen again deep in those arches.

I just hate most of the matte-grey grand theft auto lookin rims.

You know what else would be cool ? if rims were like paint chips, so you could put those nissan rims from the s13 K's onto your 240 or 180 or sileighty
