Well as PD is very close with Toyota I'm very surprised to see there has been zero news for the Corolla GR to be in the game, when the Yaris GR was introduced it came pretty fast to GT Sport no ?

Also remaining on the hot hatches, the Megane Trophy-R should be, as it is the last one ever.
Some iconic hot hatches too, 205 1.9, Golf G60, 5 gtt, Clio williams, 182 Trophy, Pulsar Gti-r, Saxo VTS.

GT7 is really lacking in modern small 2-seat coupes / roadsters outside of the Corvette and Miata. Here's what an update solely focusing on putting a few more of those in the car list. Ideally, GT Auto would have roll cages for each of these also to give them a track-ready look if you choose.

For tracks, we would get two sunny locations that work great for roadsters:

Costa di Amalfi would return to Gran Turismo after a long absence.

3E1D0162-A560-4512-BA89-958256288D16.jpeg

And Long Beach would add some elements of a second "city circuit" in GT7 without requiring near the level of detail that PD says that the Tokyo course required.

Here are a few selections of Gr.2 cars (some real, some fictional) that I’d like to see in GT7, with descriptions of each group. The idea is to flesh out Group 2 in a similar way to what PD has done with Gr1, Gr.3 and Gr.4

Class One (Original) - Fictional racing cars based on DTM’s and Super GT’s ‘Class One’ regulations:
Alfa Romeo Giulia C1 Gr.2
Chevrolet Camaro C1 Gr.2
Ford Mustang C1 Gr.2
Opel Insignia C1 Gr.2
Volkswagen Passat C1 Gr.2
Classic GT1 (Original) - Gr.2 racing cars inspired by the 1990s FIA GT1 machines:
Jaguar XJ220 Gr.2 GT
TVR Cerbera Speed 12 Gr.2 GT
Modern GT1 (Original) - Modern-day take of racing hypercars inspired by the 1990s FIA GT1 cars:
Apollo Intensa Emozione Gr.2
Aston Martin Vulcan Gr.2
Ferrari FXX K Gr.2
Ford GT Mk IV 2023 Gr.2
Lamborghini Veneno Gr.2
McLaren P1 GTR Gr.2
Pagani Zonda R Gr.2
Porsche 918 Gr.2
1990s FIA GT1 - Due to licensing, these could be replaced with fictional Gr.2 variants:
Lotus Elise GT-1 ‘98
Porsche 911 GT1-98 LM ‘98
DTM Class One - Due to licensing, these could be replaced with “Super Touring Car” or fictional Gr.2 variants:
Aston Martin Vantage DTM ‘19
Audi RS5 DTM ‘19
BMW M4 DTM ‘19
Mercedes-AMG C 63 DTM ‘18
Super GT GT500 - Due to licensing, these could be replaced with “Super Touring Car” or fictional Gr.2 variants:
Honda NSX Type-S GT500 ‘21
Honda NSX-GT GT500 ‘20
Lexus LC 500 GT500 ‘19
Nissan GT-R NISMO GT500 ‘20
Nissan Z GT500 ‘22
Toyota GR Supra GT500 ‘20
This would make Gr2 a lot more fun. At minimum, they need to add the rest of the 90s GT1 cars and current Super GT to make Gr2 more playable.

I wish PD would add two South Korean circuits that are full of personality:

- Everland Speedway

- Inje Speedium
That gives me an idea. What other countries that don’t currently have any tracks should have them? My choices, mostly chosen with variety of landscape and layout in mind.

-Scotland: Knockhill
-Argentina:Lago Potrero de los Funes circuit
-Slovakia: Automotodróm Slovakia Ring
-Vietnam: Hanoi Street Circuit
-Canada: Canadian Tire Motorsport Park
-Mexico: Autódromo Monterrey
-China: Shanghai International Circuit
-New Zealand: Hampton Downs
-Senegal: Circuit de Dakar Baobabs

Unless it's partially complete and been put on the backburner, I don't see much point adding the '18/'19 TS050. At least not for a good few years when it's considered a classic.

Right now, priority should be the new generation of LMH/LMDh cars, plus prototypes from the '80's/'90's. We had all of the LMP1H cars in GTS/GT7, being from major OEM's that made sense. In this new LMH/LMDh era there are many major OEM cars, so I'd expect a number of them to show up in GT7/GT8.

well i don't see how could new hyper class or Daytona hyper..come to a game..since cars didn't even compete on track....gr010 it's logical because it's japan brand and exclusive..but others if you ask me..will get to gt9 🤣🤣🤣 BIG "IF"

Hardly cancelled/postponed from FIA's Endurance Championship

Final circuit showstopper every season.

Bahrain circuit Begging to BE ADDED!

reterdgbe433252.jpg

GT7's official partner says hi.
reterdgbe433253.jpg

Yas Marina newcomer over this Arabian veteran makes no sense.
Bahrain seems pretty straight forward to recreate==enabling out-dated PS4 to process it smoothly in real-time.

I recall wishing that they'd add the '22 GT500 trio, with the new Z, the GR Supra, and the facelifted NSX, but I take that back. I think the '24 field would be much better, as we'd have the aforementioned Z and GR Supra, but also the Civic Type R-GT instead of the NSX.

That said, I'd still like to see the newer Acura NSX Type-S, and likely some other Type-S models, too, such as the upcoming Integra and TLX. Not to mention the classic Acura Integra Type R from the late 90s/early 00s. And speaking of Acura, I'd be shocked if we never get the ARX-06, considering the IMSA partnership.

EDIT: And I really hope we get more Gr.2 cars outside of GT500. I'd totally be down for some made-for-game racers if the DTM license still proves to be an issue.

I know I already dropped my thing for the '22 GT500 line-up but nah man, 2024 line-up all the way. That Civic GT500 gets me wet.

And just for my own sanity, I wanna drop a wish for the following circuits:
-Okayama (JP)
-Motegi (JP)
-Sugo (JP)
-Sebring (US)
-Oulton Park (UK)

I think it's important for PD to bring at least two circuits from the Middle East and Indochina countries. Yas Marina, Bahrain, Dubai, Qatar, Sepang, Chang, Marina Bay, Hanoi, in short, are very good options.

Polyphony and Gran Turismo seem to like circuits with flow, elevation, character and history. Basing this on Road Atlanta, Laguna Seca, Interlagos, Spa, Suzuka and others, here is a list I’ve made of circuits I think fit the ‘Gran Turismo’ vibe that I could see have potential…

BARBER MOTORSPORTS PARK
USA - World Circuit
  • Barber Motorsports Park
  • Barber Motorsports Park Short
  • Barber Motorsports Park Club

DONINGTON PARK
GBR - World Circuit
  • Donington Park - GP
  • Donington Park - National

ITA - World Circuit
  • Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari

LIME ROCK
USA - World Circuit
  • Lime Rock Park Road Course

VIRGINIA RACEWAY

Potrero de Los Funes is Polyphony's own vibe materialized in the real world.

It seems to be tenth: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/board/tracks.340/?order=first_post_reaction_score&direction=desc

At best you can say it's the second highest ranked real circuit that hasn't been in a GT game before and isn't the improbable Snaefell Mountain Course.

And this thread is for suggestions of DLC packs/updates, rather than solitary cars or tracks you want. The Suggestions forum is for that.
It is almost 10 years since I made that thread - It is scary how quickly the years went by.
