do anyone have a gtr tune that would absolutely do under 9 secs

i having a problem with my gtr black edition because every tune i try keep making my gtr do 9 secs. do anyone have a tune that would absolutely do 9 secs without the car boggging down or be slower then it actually claims

I'm guessing that you are talking about the Black Edition. KaroSVTR has a good tune posted for that car in his garage. 👍
 
Can you use the search button before posting a new thread in under 9 seconds? I think that literally half of this drag forum is comprised of people begging for GTR tunes.. and people wonder why some of us get sick of racing them online.

The only reason it doesnt work is because you have to tweak the car. Not just copy the tune down.

The guys are right, it doesnt matter who is giving out their best tunes if one hardhead cant manage to use them.

To me compatition will still be at its lowest for the regulars because of this.

I took that tune off my R35 TC which ran low 8.8 and then i changed it slightly to work with the black edition. i think my first run out i did a 9.009. so its decent

the launch is everything tho. if you dont get it right you'll never be quick

I could only do 9.142 because I'm using a wheel and it bogs down in 3rd gear

I remember.... I put my '09 Spec V base tune (tweaked it accordingly) on it awhile back and ran it 10 times in a row, it ran 8.9's, best it got was a 8.935 and now retired (not a GTR fan, except for the R32). I used auto trans and full revs (no trick launch) launch just like I'd do at Indy.

Follow the advice these fellas give you, they are good tuners!!


Also, I suggest maybe some people should start with less powerful cars like a 2010 Camaro SS or HPA TT (which are more fun but that's just my opinion).

Broke it in 2 weeks ago and I have never tested it (don't do test track much anymore, I don't have time), but its alot more fun than the physchotic overpowered AWD cars.

What should these run?

I'm on a medium with it. Only because I just dislike running awd cars. But the gts-t r32 (fr) makes a mean drift car

I could say also the old Audi RS6 with 450ps stock
I saw times of 9.6 such as mine did in the past!!!!

I though it ran 9.8s at SSRX but because of the grip differences at Indy it could run with 9.6 cars? At least that's what I thought.

If we speak about R32 GTR it runs just under 9.7sec Matt
I think that only 2-3 people run under that with my pb 9.723
I saw a pic of 9.6xx 1 month ago or more...
