Do B-Spec drivers get used to driving certain cars?

I got to level 20 before I even decided to try B-Spec. So needless to say, Bob had a few good cars. But by the time I reached the Supercar Nostalgia Cup, Bob had only driven one American car.

I threw him in the '62 Special, thinking, hah, it's tuned to 800 HP those little lambos only have 414. He consistently got 9th place... At least 10 races. It seemed the more I threw into the '62 the further back he got. I throw him in the Countach that hasn't been tuned at all and he wins by 10 seconds.

Now, I personally have no problem what-so-ever with the '62s handling, I think it performs marvelously. But is Bob used to little Italian cars, or is he just a little bit stupid?

I have noticed Bob has a lot of trouble driving any high powered rear wheel drive car without either spinning all over the place or driving like a snail.

Your best starting them out in rwd cars that have full aero packages on and max downforce and solid tune. Else they will struggle. But after they get a handle on the rwd cars you can stick them in most any rwd drive and they will drive it well, still my get the back end out on occasions but for the most part they do seem to get used to certain types of cars.

First, your putting him in a over powered muscle car and comparing it to a super car. Secondly, if you have to level up your driver gradually. Start with FF/AWD cars, then FR, and then MR cars. A low level driver will not be able to handle very powerful cars.

B Spec drivers don't get used to anything. They'll do the same stupid things, lap after lap. They just generally suck less as their level increases, but nothing specific in terms of cars, tracks, other drivers, etc. It's really an incredibly narrow "game" mode.
