Do DLC cars go straight into your garage?

You get them in the form of tickets, there is a update coming in December that will allow you to purchase the cars from the dealership.

yeah they appear in the "truck" then its a pain in the rear (time wise) getting all 15 cars into your garage

Poor design by PD there. The cars are pretty good themselves although I must say they mostly perform quite similar in my opinion. The most exiting in my opinion is the rx7 as it has the characteristics showing truly through from the base model. The X2011 is slightly faster, I think with the engine broken in it can exceed 1600hp.
I found that the best part of the DLC was surprisingly Kart Space. Fantastic fun online.
So yeah, it does take a while obtaining your cars but it's well worth it. 👍
