Do endurance races have midrace saves?

You could save during enduros in GT4, couldn't you? Or is that a feature that ended up getting dropped? I haven't played one in years, so I can't remember.

No had to pause game and continue whenever until you finished.

no. you could save during a series if you couldn't do all 6 races at once, but you couldn't save mid-race.

I thought a previous post noted that the Enduros are unlocked at Level 25. And I'm not going to believe that Saving was added until I see it: While GT4 allowed saving between Series races, the Series races I've seen in GT5 do NOT allow saving. No file back-up and leaving my PS3 on for hours -- days? -- to race long Series and Enduros? For 5 years of GT5 development, that's just stupid.

Endurance races are unlocked at lvl 25. There is a total of 9 enduro races. You need to do the races in the right order too (meaning the first enduro race requires lvl 25, the next one lvl 26, the 3rd lvl 27, etc)

I only did the 300km of Grand Valley. There is no B-Spec. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that my b-spec driver is still at lvl 0.

The next event is a 4 hour race on Tsukuba. Again no B-spec, no way to make a save.
I desperately need a b-spec driver. If I have to wait till my drivers reach lvl 25 for them to be in the enduro races, then I won't play GT5 anymore because it's just too damn idiotic. I did one race in b-spec and i was already bored to death.

Sometimes I really wonder what PD has been doing during these last 6 years. Some things are just unbelievably stupid. For example, the European Championship. It says something along the lines of "What will be Europe's fastest car?". So I thought "cool, can't wait to race against SLSs and Scuderias and Enzos". As opponents I had Citroen C5 V6, Vectra V6 and other POS like that. Jesus ****ing Christ.

I'm getting sick and tired of racing against cars that no one remembers.
Oh yeah and in the 300km of Grand Valley, there were only stock cars and yeah you guessed it... all of them were from 2nd millennium.

I like the bspec races. Gives me a chance to take a break but still earn cash!

I despised the vitz race and the mini car cup though.

I'm currently at Level 25, and the Endurance Series now unlocked, but i can only get to the first race which is 300KM Grand Valley Speedway.
Unfortunately, when i go to a pit stop, i can only change tyre for front and rear, and refuel.
But no option for saving, and downforce setup.

What's your B-Spec level?

Jeez that's realy lame, how the **** can you race for 24h straight? (Asuming the saving isn't possible)

You just pause and go to bed. In my opinion, leaving a ps3 on is no different from leaving a computer or laptop on for days on end.

No, i mean the tires wear out each and every race you do, from the lvl 0 starting cup on. And you get new ones after each race.

Rephrase, you just can't turn tire wear off, ever. It's there from doing your first race, but it's pretty hard to kill even soft tires on 2 laps of tsukuba, BUT you can if you turn off traction control and really go at it. They turn red when you spin, and clam down when you race without screeching. If you continue they will stay red and will be very slippery (damaged or used up, whatever)

That isn't tyre wear. tyre wear is where the bars in the tyres go down. the colour is just the temperature. you dont have tyre wear on the normal a-spec events :)

where are endurance races? someone posted a list with the enduracne races but i can't find them in the game.

They weren't thinking at all.

They don't seem to have considered that people may actually want to use their Playstation for things other than GT5.

Sure they did, that's why they didn't hold a gun to your head and force you to play the endurance races, or indeed buy the game at all.
