Just use it online or just use it anyway. I was like that with exact same car.
TbearI know it must sound like a dumb question, but driving online doesn't put miles on a car's odometer?
Something to do with OCD?
I don't think it does nor damage.
This is a driving game so drive it!
TbearWell, if that is true, you may have helped me stave off insanity by at least a few years.![]()
VillainWhat's the fun in owning that car if you're not going to drive it? That's like having a hot girlfriend but refusing to have sex with her. That doesn't sound like a good deal.![]()

Mac KIt does. I have a car that had 50 miles on it, I did one online race and quit, looked at the car offline and it now had 63 miles.
yes.
yes you do.
Just in case someone hasn't pointed this out already, you do realize this is not a real car? This is a video game? Your "car" is a collection of bits and bytes, not sheet metal and carbon fibre...you know this right? You know it could have 1 trillion miles on it and the digital image of the car will be the same right?
Just checking...
Just liking this game... or well any video game... is probably a sign of some kind of obsessive personality trait or something. haha!
But I don't think it's any worse than a lot of non-productive hobbies. Like collections of useless things you hear about people collecting - at least gt5 cars don't take up real-life storage space.
But as for keeping something with 0 miles for the sake of it... I don't see the point. It's not like you could totally destroy a car & be crying like Eric Bana or whatever his name is. I think you could put a LOT of miles on a car in gt5 (could take you a long time), before it actually degrades past a point where it can be restored to previous condition.
Oh I thought it didn't. Ill have to check.
