Do I REALLY have to go through World Tour again?

Finished World Tour mode earlier today, at last, then accidentally clicked on "Go Race - World Tour" and so it brought me right back to the beginning (Amateur Division?). The announcer talked me through it again as he did when I first got the game.

Can I now just ignore this and go through the races in events list, or must I trawl through World Tour yet again?
I know I'm free to go through the events list anyway, but I'm just wondering if I have to go through World Tour again in order to properly complete the game...

No I'm pretty sure you can now just complete the game via Event list.

Was the same in Fm3. Achievement only went upto Year10 but you could keep on going if you liked the more structured route in the career.

Thank God for that. I much prefer the non-linear events list where I can just pick and choose my races on a whim.

Be careful when you go to event list you don't accidentally world tour instead, you have to sit through the whole spiel of the ametuer division again before you can go back. Very annoying!

Now I know what to do when im finished with my 9th and the 10th season.
