ohh no man! Don't do this again......Halo said they sucked in his tread a week or so ago, now you're doing the same thing? No, they don't suck, what sucks is all of the people saying they suck, and all of the people that say they suck because they don't know how to drive them.

What car do you like?

Miatas don't suck .....they are actually a great little car to have some fun with if you can fit in them ......i certainly can't

Nah, I like them. Reaalllly small, they are, but they gotta lotta pep.

Welcome to GTP!

This thread is useless, look at the GT4 forum at the thread at the top.

Heh, thanks. I'd try to post more often, but being banned from the computer = sucks.

i've been banned from the pc before....it does suck, that was after I lost the sound on my old pc....I was banned for several days.

I have not used it enough, memory tells me it is kind of loose. But I am unexcited by the car. RX-7 yes. Trans Am (personal fav.), definitely, even the older Camry, new design is not as good. Not so sure about the Supra. But while the newer Miatas have grown on me, I just am not a fan of the car. Still rather ride in a Miata than a Beetle.

Yeah - well spotted - you've got a bit of move on there since coming back!

Yea, they are loose, but you can master it. RX-7s are cool though, I wish they left the 79-85 model in GT.

i'd have to take the Beetle due to my inabilities to fit in a Miata

Well, in the context of GT3 they're good - certainly a lot better than they were in GT1 and 2.

That said, I am a fan of high grip low HP rear drivers, such as the Altezza and the Miata. I like cars that require the discipline of preservation of momentum.

I also think if you're running the Logitech GT3 wheel it makes a big difference with these cars.

Therein lies the problem. I think most of the time good handling implies a reasonable reaction to an input, sometimes based on the car, sometimes not. If you have to correct a car so much that the justification for it, "character," no longer holds weight, then saying that a car sucks, in that regard, may be justified. Is this the case with the Miata? I have no idea, but to be fair, if it is, the car should be under criticism.

Oh, I am aware that a Miata is superior to a Trans Am, but only when the course is sufficiently narrow, turns are tight, and there are no stretches.

forgot about the context there .......i didn't know the Miata was a rear driver

I'm not a Pontiac loyalist, but damn it, the car does look nice. I wish some Japanese company made the car. V8 and fr layout, but dohc, different suspension. Weight loss. Sigh.

The Miata is very drivable, and race winable. Sure, if you go up and down the hills on Complex String at 125+MPH, you're going to slide, but even then, it's easily corrected but turning the opposite way, just like any car. The Miata has great acceleration and handling. But it is not a car for the Like the wind race, but for ony $18,000 , it's a great bargin in the game.

Yea, especially since you get one after beating the measly Clubman Cup. I had a Miata for a while in the beginning, my first care, got it up to about 311 HP, and sold it when I got my Lancer. Was nice though... slided too easy, but whaddya expect.

Its just not a race car - It doesnt have that race feel or movement or sound - I personally dont like it - But then I really like the speed 12 and not many people like that so there you go !! jw :D :D :D

yeah but alot of cars aren't race cars in the game

The Miata is a cheap car, which can be fairly upgraded, and will do for all your first races, and the most of the Beginner League!

So IMO it doesn't suck!

well then, where is the guy who posted this? Maybe he's too ashamed to post here again.

;)

The Miata is a fine, low-priced, real-wheel drive, well-balanced car that can't be made powerful enough to make it uncontrollable. And hey, there's nothing wrong with that... :)
