I've gathered by the tone of this forum that most of you lads (& lasses) take GT4 pretty seriously so before you rip me on this here me out...

I have one car set aside for B-Spec endurance races, It literally is my 'CashCow' When I'm broke or doing the dishes (or right now as I write this lol) this machine (for which my senti-MENTAL attachment has grown) has over 10,000 miles on the clock & I've re-enforced the car's structure at least a dozen or more times (I've truly lost count... it seems the higher the miles the more you have to do it) and I'm watching the horsepower slowly dwindle away :guilty: ...

It has won me $$$Millions$$$ And I Love It

:) My 'Minolta 88C Toyota' :)

So If you have a machine that you constantly flog in B-Spec mode post it here so it gets the respect the poor ol' bugger deserves   Cheers G_B_G

Actually using a f1 is the best idea, on the fast turning tracks it's faster than anything, and also you can't "damage" it by running the nurb 24h race 15 times:)

I only use b-spec for the three 24 hr races and I used a different car each time. Toyota 7 for the Ring, Nissan 89 for Sarthe 1 and Sauber MB for Sarthe 2. Had no trouble with any even though my b-spec guy has less than 3000 points.

I won't use any of those special prize car for Nurburing 24hours. I think it's a waste, because your competitions are 500hps mid class race cars. I just use Cien put a stage 2 NA upgrade, racing hard tires and put a spoiler, then b-spec it with 3 and overtake on. Guaranteed to win, after enough mileage just discard the Cien and win it back from Special Condition again. Easy and Fast, so you dont have to worry about high mileage on your favorite cars.

B-spec workhorse? well..........back in the early days, when I was young and foolish and let Bob drive my cars, I gave him a CLK touring car and let him spam up 30000 miles at the DTM.

Then I had a think............
Can Bob drive? No.
Did Bob pay for this game? No
Did Bob win any of these cars? No.
Is Bob fit for anything other than cleaning the bugs off my windscreen? No.

So I fired him, Started again and did it myself. My workhorse? D.S.2. lol.

Well, I don't know about a Bspec workhorse. But my Minolta and Saleen S7 have thousands of miles beneath their wheels, with frame refreshes many times over. Not to mention my poor Sauber ran both LeSarthe 24 hour enduros.

My only car with a fixed job is the Mercedes CLK Touring Car, in fact, the only miles on it are B-spec miles from the Deutsche Touring Car Meistershaft. Thats pretty cool because a simple calculation can then tell me how much money I've earned from that championship. Last count was a little under 30 million (this includes the purchase of the 4 black secondhand LM cars).

The CLK-TC for the DTM and CLK-GTR for enduros. Now that I've got all the BLMPs I don't really feel the need to spam the DTM any more. Untill I feel the need to start buying race cars, it'll just be the CLK-GTR doing the endless hours of lapping I don't have the patience for.

My Minolta has over 15,000 miles on the odo. I must have run the El Capie Enduro 25 times. When was the last time you made $1,000,000 mowing the lawn?

Maybe I should get a chassis refresh. Nah, all I need to beat are MotorSport Elises.

merc touring car when i need money fast. otherwise the minolta. my driver can drive a minolta better than a mirage, which puzzled me :(

Oh yeah! I have one car dedicated to one race: Minolta is over 20,000 miles from many times through the El Capitan Enduro. Almost every time I know I'll be away from my PS2...the Cap'n...
