I just can't get over the Imprezas in GT5. They're my favorite street cars (Spec C), then you throw in the race modded versions as well as the Cusco and I'm just sunk. I realized that in the past week I've spent nearly 3,000,000 credits just tuning my Imprezas and buying multiples in different colors, lol. At 20,000,000 credits what are you going to do anyway? You guys have any cars you geek out over like this? Check out my list, and I'm not even going to list all the standard versions that I don't actually drive.

Cusco Dunlop Subaru Impreza '08 - P
Cusco Subaru Advan Impreza '03 - P

Impreza Spec C RA '05 - orange - P
Impreza Spec C RA '05 - black - P
Impreza Spec C RA '05 - dark red - P
Impreza Spec C RA '05 - white - P
Impreza Spec C RA '05 - silver - P
Impreza Spec C RA '05 - race mod - black - P
Impreza Spec C RA '05 - race mod - yellow - P
Impreza Sedan '10 - gold - P

Impreza Super Touring Car - S

Impreza Rally Car Prototype '01 - S
Impreza Rally Car '01 - S
Impreza Rally Car '99 - S

Edited to add epic picture. :)

I have a love for Fairladies, and TVR Tuscans:D

Probably have 6 of each in my garage, half of which are used only for photomode:D

By the way, what do you mean by OCD?
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder?
Online Car Dealership?
Osteochondritis dissecans?
On-call duty?
On-chip debugging?
Object collision detection?

Don't expect everyone to know the acronyms;)

Multiples of the same car does sound a bit OCD to me.

Only have a few multiples of the 3 series, S2000 and RX7:

3 series:
320i Touring car
M3 CSL
M3 GTR
M3 (E92, Premium)

S2000:
Spoon Street car
Spoon Race car
Amuse Street version
Mugen version
LM Race car

RX7:
FC (the premium one)
FD Bathurst R
FD Type RZ (92)
FD Type RZ (00)
FD Spirit R (premium)

And I don't think I have multiple versions of other cars. :dunce:

Well, if you're looking for lots of Miata/MX5 or Skylines, then GT5 is definitely your game.

I had an Escudo, but bought the one from the OCD because it had lower mileage! Does that count?

I collect Nissan Skylines and GT-Rs.

Ill admit i go a bit crazy over NSX's and rx-7's from the used bit... every single one has to be modded and painted identically to the ones i had in gran turismo's 1 through to 4... mental, yeah?

As long as PD insists on the verisimilitude of engines degrading over time, I'll continue stocking up on the RS4, M3 CSL, and Le Mans prototype racers whenever I see them in the OCD.

I have an OCD over collecting all Skylines.
Just kidding
But seriously

At some point you'll realize that the engine overhaul option fixes your LMP's engine for half a million and look back at the dozens off millions you've spent on duplicates for nothing. :p

You mean other than the fact that you'll continue to lose hp that an overhaul cannot restore, right? Besides, there are few things more beautiful in racing than a bespoke Le Mans racer in full livery, what's wrong with wanting to collect pretty things?

Lol, I had to edit the thread title. OCD was an exaggeration of the term "obsessive compulsive disorder". It wasn't supposed to mean Online Car Dealership. :)

My FGT is on the verge of breaking the 20.000 km mark and I just overhauled the engine back to 935 bhp to see if it happens. If the unrestoreable damage comes further down the road, no idea, but you really have to like a single LMP a lot to put such mileage on it and eventually need a new one of the same kind. Unless you meant collecting different Le Mans cars (that I'm doing myself too) instead of buying several examples of one model like the first post of yours made it sound like.

lania stratos in red, yellow, and green.

I have been buying 2 of every Impreza in the UCD since a couple weeks into GT5.

I bought my first real bran new car May '09.. an Impreza 2.5i 4 door, 5 speed stick. I love it. If not for Gran Turismo 1 through 4 I doubt I would have an Impreza for real now. It's great fun in the snow with traction control turned off in a parking lot or yard. WRX would have been more fun, but less practical. About 17,000 miles on it so far..

Me driving my Subaru-

for those on PS3 browser:

Will post back with my list in GT5 so far.. I'm on my PS3 browser now, so need to close it and start GT5 to make that list. Two of each is so I can keep one stock and mod one.. I'll be using my 22b for the 4WD seasonals later today.. only have one 22b so far.

EDIT- list so far:

Premiums (haven't concentrated on these yet- can do that anytime)

Subaru Impreza Sedan WRX Sti '10 *1
Subaru Impreza Sedan WRX Sti Spec C Type RA '01 *1

Standards:

Impreza Sedan WRX Sti Spec C '04 *2
Impreza Sedan WRX Sti '02 *2
Impreza Rally Car '01 *2
Impreza Rally Car Prototype '01 *2
Impreza Sedan WRX Sti Prodrive Style '01 *1
Impreza Sport Wagon Sti '00 *2
Impreza Sedan WRX Sti Version '00 *2
Impreza Rally Car '99 *1
Impreza Coupe WRX type R Sti Version VI '99 *1
Impreza Sport Wagon WRX Sti Version VI '99 *2
Impreza Sedan WRX Sti Version VI '99 *2
Impreza Coupe 22B Sti Version '98 *1
Impreza Sedan WRX Sti Version IV '97 *2
Impreza Sedan WRX Sti Version III '96 *2
Impreza Sedan WRX Sti Version II '95 *1
Impreza Sedan WRX Sti '94 *2

I guess that's 29 Imprezas. I need at least 13 more to have 2 of every Impreza, but there's probably some I don't even have one of yet (standard) - I counted 2 of every premium including RM.

I am trying to get several of the same kind (credit balance permitting!). My first FGT from before the online car dealership has been my B-Spec mule and is now topping out at 924 hp. I'm not sure about the mileage on it and it's in the middle of the 4 hour ring event, but I'm level 36 so it has a few of those, Le Mans, and far too many laps at Tsukuba under its belt. It makes sense in a game that requires maintenance of engines that they won't be at their peak forever, but it certainly would be nice to have something akin to a "new engine" in addition to the rebuild/overhaul at GT Auto.

I currently have 120 Subaru Legacys.

Here's a video:

Legacy's huh? To be honest, that's a bit of a surprise. :odd:

I have tons of Impreza's...Mostly the Bugeye STi and 22b. My first real car was a 98 2.5RS and I currently drive an 02 WRX.

Because gt5 doesn't have any ability to save different profiles I'm stuck with purchasing multiple versions with multiple settle just to race online.

So yes I do but not because I want to.

i probably have 10 supras

i have at least 10 Camaros.. several Corvettes.. two LFAs.. a few challengers.. yeah i got alot of stuff..

I am fascinated with the Audi R8 5.2. I currently have 3 of them. I also have 2 4.2's and 1 TT Coupe.

I guess its just Audi in general, but I love those cars, such magnets on the tarmac.

I have almost all RX7 variant.

My OCD- The Chevy Camaro

Favorite Modern car, and it seems like I need a ton for every situation

Camaro '10 Stock- Orange- Just looks awesome
Camaro '10 Stock- Yellow w/ Black Stripe- Gotta have a Bumblebee
Camaro '10 Drift Tune- Red w/ Boxer Stripe- This car is a surprisingly good drifter
Camaro '10 Fully Tuned- Black- Just needed it
Camaro '10 RM- Black- Very fun car, accually looks like a home bred tuner car
Camaro '69 Stock- Orange- For historical Comparisons
Camaro '69 RM- Those tires  and it is blazingly fast around the TGTT!

EDIT: And the Camaro '00, as it was my 2nd car in GT4 and it was my original GT4 workhorse. I needed it for nostalgia sake.
