Is it just me or when you buy a car do find it difficult to pick what colour you want it? Today for instance I brought a Volvo S60 and I couldn't decide if I should have it in Green as it's my favourite colour, and there was two shades of green to make it more difficult.

Plus there was a nice gold colour and a metallic silver colour plus I'd already got the red one, oh so hard to choose, anybody else have this problem?

yeah, i usually have that prob;lem when buying a new charger for the dirt races, i always try to mae it look like the dukes opf hazzard charger, but i just cant choose, cause they have 5 SHADES OF ORANGE 🤬 :D i also have that prob when i shoose a car that will make it obvious that its dirty :D

ummm...yeah, i buy new chargers all the time to try different settings, like rollbars and other non-removable tuning options...:D

Damn you, now i want to get a charger -.-

I usualyl dont have the problem of choosing, since i have two-three colours that i want, no matter what car, and if they are not choosable for the car, i choose the next best thing... Which can be hard :D

I have a bit of trouble choosing a colour as well, especially japanese cars. I see a Nissan Skyline and i see a colour i like, but it's only on the more expensive model of Skyline, so i have to think "Hmm... i could get a nice colour for more price, or i could get a similar colour on a cheaper model". It is quite hard to choose.

Easy peasy for me I always buy the clour that I have seen on TV and is most eye pleasing as an example Aston Martin DB9 (Topgear was a silvery blue) so I buy it in that colour.

you'd have to be crazy to play a game with terrible A.I. ......sounds like SW battlefornt 2 :(

anywho, back on topic....haha, yeah, the charger rocks, especially with a supercharger, nos and a hill :D yesh, im trying to make you angry :D

every body does, its human nature. like otaday, i was goina buy ethier a black civic or a red civic, so i chose a white civic just to shut my self up

I don't usually have that problem, I just choose the color that I like at the moment, if my mind changes I'll just go buy that car again in a new color, its not like money is hard to come by in GT4.

I've had that problem before. A while back I couldn't decide which shade of blue to get my RUF BTR in. And last week I had to decide if I wanted my Pescarolo Courage to have the red mirrors/intake or not. I went with the red highlights.

If I can't decide, I buy all the colours I like, take the vipers for example, I own all the purchasable vipers in every colour scheme, just because they don't have the best one of all, the blue with white stripes, which I was very disappointed about.

With the other cars, it's usually the iconic colours everyone knows the cars by, a really outrageous colour (Motor sport Elise in lime green anyone?) or black.

Yeah, but I ended up buying it in black first, just for the proper Exige look.

Also a Jaguar should be in silver or B.R.G really, it just looks natural.

I generally have no troubles. German cars are usually silver, except the yellow M3 and audis, which can be yellow and red also.

I try to get British Racing Green for all british cars, but sometimes I default to silver.

Italians are red whenever possible.

I don't buy American cars, but when I do it is a color I see on the road and like.

For Japanese, I often go with white or black. Sometimes a color will jump out and I will pick that.

Other than that, my default is silver. Boring garage, eh?. Have I hit all of the proper staples well enough?

I go on the same line as philly cheese. Silver for Germans, Red for Italians, Green for Brits, White for Japanese and white/blue for Americans. When possible of course. If not possible, I go for black.

When i buy a car i realy want , i usualy buy the car in all the colours. :)
This is the same with the prize cars ( and you don´t want to know how many times you need to do a certain race over and over to get all the colours :yuck: ).

My problem is to choose what colour to use in a race.

I'm having a bad time with used cars. I want to build a garage with one of every car available in the game, but sometimes the colour is just not right. Take for example the Mazda Autozam. In blue. Horrible car, horrible colour for that car. So I wait for it to come around again. This time its red. Not as bad as the blue, but still not right. I'd like one in white next time please!

i always have problems with the choise of car colours thats why i have so many cars in the garage in gt4.:sly: (975 cars in garage)

I find that bright red cars are very glarey in my TV, so i try to avoid them, which is a shame because i love bright red cars in RL.

A friend of mine, who is far more experienced at GT4 than I, insists that, all else being equal, black cars handle slightly better in GT4 than other colours. Has anyone else noticed any performance variations based purely on colour?

I find the Lotus Europa to be the hardest to decide on. A lot of the colors look good but look strange with the gold colored trim. I take like 20 minutes to pick the car I want to race in arcade mode.

Cars with racing stripes go faster.

I'm serious.

Well, that does include cars like the Shelbies, Vipers and Ford GTs, which are indeed faster than most other cars. But then again, the Zonda, Saleen, and Speed 12 are all solid color...

But cars with sponsorship ads DO go faster ;)

Definetly.👍
