Hey just wondering...since GT3 is such an intensive and full-time gmae, do most of you own other games as well? Are you into other types of PS2 games besides racing and/or just GT3?

I have:

Crazy Taxi
All Star Baseball 2002
Timesplitters
Madden 2001
 
Ugh...almost too many to list.

I worked for Gamespy reviewing PS2 games, so I have probably more than 15 other than GT3.
 
My only other PS2 game is Star Wars: Starfighter! :(
 
All I own is GT3, the less the better. And since I work at a video store, I get to rent the ps2 games for free for 5 days so it makes it ratehr easy to focus on GT3. Hey but here's some memories that'll take you back. Way back when gran turismo came out, who remembers the GTO Twin Turbo made by Mitsubishi? Ever since then I have become a personal fan of the GTO and all that series cars. They are great, 4wd, huge amounts of horse power, and you can soup them up really nicely. Well thats my take on things, hope I brought back some memories of the good old classic days. :p :D
 
SSX because it was simply the most awesome launch title available.
EA Rugby becasue I love rugby.
EA Formula One because I love F1 too.

and of course....GT3 because that's the reason I bought my PS2 in the first place.

GT3 is, in my opinion, the best PS2 game by a mile, but i also own:

SSX

FIFA 2001

POOL MASTER
AQUA AQUA 2 (I know it's crap, but it is my girlfriends!!)

I am now waiting for MGS2 and GTA3.....:rolleyes::rotfl::rolleyes:

That's all I can think of at the moment. I used to be a real video game freak back in the day. Nowadays I just don't have the time and don't really want to. I like to be out in the world with the 3 dimensional people these days.:D :eek:
 
Well fellas, GTA3 is coming out, and you better believe I'm snagging that one. Got some more hot ones comin out this month like Devil May Cry, too. As for right now, no other game is worthy except for GT3 (well, except maybe Madden 2002 when I've been drinking with some buddies)
 
started with Moto GP, Tokyo xtreme, Midnight Club, Ridge Rcaer 5, GT3 and ATV Off Road Fury. Am Waiting for a good F1 game. Completed TXR 3 times and made up aquick version so you don't have put put 3000km on the car to get 1 wanderer. I play till I beat White Charisma my record is 62 days. 85.7% done GT3. Station 2 Solutions a British mag had a good guide but some of the times for time trial did't match the US version of the game they were a couple of seconds off. I beat thier times anyway. Being retired gives me a few hours a day to play.
 
only GT3 for now. can't wait for Tony Hawk 3 though. coming out Oct 30th in the US.

i'm in Vegas for SEMA that day and am debating whether to bring along my PS2 on the plane or not to play this game.

I would be content w/ only these 2 games in my library.
 
Well, I bought the PS2/GT3 combo, a controller, a memory card, the iLink cable, a Logitech Wheel, and the stupid carring case at the same time. Needless to say, I'm a GT3 freak. A friend of mine gave me two games he was done with, and I thanked him, but honestly I don't ever see myself playing them (:

I would like to play some SSX. Another friend of mine has that, bought it with his PS2.

I don't like most sports games, like football, baseball, basketball ... and first person shooters pretty much suck on a game pad. That leaves me with race games (got the wheel already (: ) and puzzle games. I doubt there will be many PS2 puzzle games like Tetris and Dr Marrio, but maybe. I guess Final Fantasy would be good, but I don't know that I could devote that much time to fiction. I also dig flight sims ... maybe I'll get into that a little more.

What do you guys think of Ridge Racer? I was going to buy that when I finished GT3.
