Hi all....its been a while since I have been here on the site, so its good to see all of you again.

I was bummed out at work, hoping the day would fly by, so I decided to leave early. Why? I wanted to come home and play. So...Its getting close to one year since the game was released here in the states and I was wondering how many of you all still take an occassional day off from work or school to play the game?

I am even considering not going in tomorrow....(I have a couple of sick days to use...might as well put them to use:)

Heh today I was feeling depressed with my current situation so I just stayed at home skipping work and revised for my maths exam. Oh and yes I played GT3 a bit but mostly did maths (booooo hate maths b0ooooooooo). So I suppose I dont it was just me being depressed and needing to revise sum maths

I am going to assume that a "lay out" is when you tell your boss or school that your not coming in. So in that case I would never "call out" or "lay out" of work to play video games, much less for any other reason other than I am dead or something, but even then I would still try to make it there on time. GT is fun but playing it dose'nt make my Lexus payment!
But on the other hand I often tell my girlfriend that I am "busy."

I love the games, but I doubt I'll take a day off work just to play it (though any days I do take off quite often include some GT3 action :D )

I'd take a 'mental health' day to play golf or bodyboard, but not to play video games (well, except maybe if the surf was crap...).

I've been know to curl under a blanket and play games all day when I'm home sick.

and I'm 24 years old

When I was young I didn't have a video game system, so I need to catch up on some imituraty!

Well, I did stay out today, but played very little...my wife and I are trying to sell our house, so I had things I needed to do, but I made sure I did them early enough to have most of the afternoon free to play a couple of hours of GT3 :)

Also, sorry for not making the poll last longer than a day...I was in a bit of a hurry when I set it up...I meant to make it last for a week :) Oh well...........

Know what you mean - unfortunately the few genuine sickdays I take are usually migraine related so I can't bear to be in a bright room, let alone look at a TV. :(
