Do you type in the ****ing asterisks?

When you know that a word is going to be censored, do you type it out or do you type in the asterisks? Or do you just bypass the swear-filter like a bad mother****er? Or, do you just never have a censored word in a post.

Or, or, or, or. ****ety ****.

Usually type the swear word without thinking, post it, then look at my post and notice the ****** and then go in and edit them out
 
Who gives a ****ing **** how the **** you deal with the ****ing swear filter. **** you and the ****ing horse you rode in on!
 
I used to go to the trouble of bypassing the filter by putting text modifiers in the middle of the word, but now I just type what I'm thinking and let the filters do their job.

Why would anyone go to the trouble of filtering themself? That's just ****ing lame!

So when I type ****rag [it rhymes with runtrag] and that doesn't get censored, is that cool? I'm thinking it isn't.

AltF8 or Jordan should add that word to the list.
 
Asshole. I always wondered why that's not on the list. Maybe this thread can be used to tweak the swear filter. Jordan will be grateful.
 
Heh, I tested a bunch of them in a private message to myself. I checked the recipient box like 12 times to make sure I was in fact sending it myself. There are quite a few swears that aren't on the list. Most of them are compound words.

*****, on the other hand, is a female dog.
 
Jordan probably figures that if its aloud on reg TV then its ok on here,but just to test my theory

I wonder if ass works by itself? And if so, does it work in conjunction with ****, as in ****ass.

Klos -- you my be interested to know that you can type text in the message box and press "Preview". This will cause it to generate the outcome text but keep your original intact in the message box. I am doing this now.

Many "rude" words crop up quite innocently in normal words. One famous joke in the UK goes:

"Name 3 football teams with swear words in their names.
Arsenal, Scunthorpe and ****ing Leeds..." :D

I don't think I want to ask Attila what a "double-****" is...

"Ass" works by itself, because it's not a rude word - it's a type of donkey. The word is "arse" (which probably won't get censored now I say it).

And we have a member here (and he'll be representing GTP in the 9Boards) called Bollocks#999 - and that's SO not censored... :D
