Do you use anything to improve your eyesight?

I wear contact lenses all the time. Well, I take them out at night, and wear glasses to give my eyes an occasional rest.

Why would you need glasses at night? Do you dream short-sighted?

👍

As for me, I don't wear anything, I guess my vision is just fine 👍 However, both my mother and father wear glasses when reading a book or viewing a webpage with very small lettersizes, so who knows?

A naked Bram! Your girlfriend must like that. :p

That's normal. That's because they are getting older. Under normal condition when you hit 50, your eyeside is getting worse.
However, if your short-sighted, this problem will occur at a later age. So this means that Daan is going to be able to dream longer without his contact lenses than other people.

Before I got my lenses, I wore glasses all the time, but I never wore glasses in my dreams. I've never put my lenses in during a dream either.

If you want to prevent blindness, start taking Lutein and zeaxanthin. Lutein (lutea means "yellow") becomes an antioxidant and absorbs blue light.

I just found out this summer that I'm legally blind in one eye and have pretty crappy vision in the other. I still haven't gone to pick out glasses yet though as I haven't really had the time or the care to do so.

I've seen the difference and I guess I'm just happy seeing shapes and colors instead of the huge mess thats in my apartment.

I don't wear anything at the moment although I haven't had an eye test in around 3 years. I know that next time I have one they are going to recommend glasses/contacts.

More expense.

I have to wear glasses all the time. If not, i would go blind..... :nervous:

I voted ''I dont care'', my left eye is shortsighted, my right eye is longsighted and I used to have glasses when I was 8 years old. They didnt change anything beside making me vision fuzzy so I throwed them away and dont have any problems with my vision.
With two such different eyes I dont have a perfect 3D vision -when driving a car my brain uses the longsighted eye and when I read a book the brain turns on my left eye. Well, my brain never shuts down one eye, it just changes the dominance depending on the situation, that means I still see with wo eyes -having a faulty 3d vision - but the dominant eye is in use for around 80%.

I dont have any problem at all, and in the military service I use my left (short) eye for pistol shooting at 25 yards and my right eye for rifle shooting/spotting/scoped rifle.

Nope, I've got 20/10 vision and don't need them.

From,
Chris.
