I do, and Ive written a few pieces for the piano (my instrument!)
as well as some rap music.
The rap music actually my friends and I wrote for a science project.

I can't understand why you use U instead of You and etc. just because it's rap lyric.

Anyway, I write music and songs, though, more of the former.
 
I don't or no...I can't write music lyrics. I lack of imagination.

I try to. Unfortunately, the older I get, the less I feel like writing music, and the more I feel like just jamming, which leaves me fairly happy musically, but lacking creatively.

The last full song I committed to MP3 was around 3 years ago.
 
Gtracer its for a science project what do you expect? A documentary of how many people's girlfirends Ive picked up and how big my rims are? Id like to see you try and do better.
 
Rap is supposed to be about *****es 'n ho's, watches and Rolls...

Except MC Hawking, of course.

What, 2 12 year old kids are expected to come up with their own lyrics AND tune for a full length song in a week? And I didnt 'call it my own', I clearly gave Snoop credits at the top of my 1st post
 
I'm sorry, I missed the "science project" part at the beginning.
 
I write my own music on the bass...mostly blues and stuff. But I can't sing worth a damn.

I write ragtime, jazz, and classical sounding stuff on guitar. I own a classical, acoustic, and semi-hollow body electric. Well, I guess I dont write it, since I cant read it, but I create it mentally!
 
I've written aboout 4 full songs now and am trying to piece together a band but just can't find anyone else to play with, so right now all my songs are instrumentals.
