Hand built in the 1920's as a one-off, the Doble E-20 is a remarkable machine. Regarded as being the finest steam car ever made, the E-20's complex steam engine produces approximately 150 bhp and 1,000lb/ft of torque. This particular Doble was owned by Howard Hughes, who reportedly hit 132.5 mph in the beast, which was a huge feat in the 20's. weighing in at 2.5 tonnes and with a price tag of a whopping $25,000 (in 1925!), the E-20 is a machine of epic proportions.

Underwhelming power, but man, that torque. Wonder if we'd be able to mod the engine at all. How does the engine work anyway?
