Husky just calm down man. Avatars are not made in a couple seconds. Mine took a half hour.

Plus dude...you wont be able to use it. You need 200 posts to use a costum avatar. :D

OK, I've got a Neon avatar already, tho it's only 32x32. I guess I just have to postwhore for a while to get over 200 so I can change it.

Can I change my rank at 200, too?

Eh, it's OK. :weird: I'm not a huge fan of the animated stuff because it is so distracting. But I guess I'm gonna have to make one so I can learn something new, and so I can be cool like everybody else.

Oh, yeah, and I only commented to get my post count up.
 
OK, here's my first attempt at an animated avatar.

It's about 14 frames or so and totals 56k, which seems kinda fat for how choppy it is. Any suggestions on how to optimize it?

I guess I'll remake it with lower-quality jpegs for the initial frames. Maybe that will help.
