I was wondering if anyone has any settings to improve the handling of this car. It constantly pushes when cornering and when I left off the gas it understeers terribly, even on a straight! I've tried increasing the spring rates and lowering the ride height and nothing seems to help. My driving style is mostly late-braking and powering out of the corner so the car will need to be able to turn and remain stable under braking. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried adding a wing and front downforce? I found that on my high powered WRX this made all the difference at high speeds. If you want more grip in the front you need to soften spring rates.

Still need help with this car. Anybody got any suggestions or can direct to another site that has some settings to get this car under control. Thanks for the assistance.

Mine runs pretty good... I did a comparison test between the SRT-4 and from what I think most people would say is the FF benchmark the Integra Type R. Both cars were modded in my test but had the same power to weight ratio of 4.3 They were also setup pretty similar. My SRT always edged out the ITR although barely. The thing with the SRT is don't put so much damn power in it, 270-310 is enough. If you run racing tires then add a little more power if your want, any more and traction is a problem with most FF cars. I will post my settings when I get back to my game.

I think that may be my problem. I have mine up over 400 HP and all it is does is spin the tires all the way up through 3rd gear. Let me know what your settings are and I'll try those. Thanks.

You need to adjust your driving style to match the car a bit. This is exactly how FWD cars do not like to be driven.

FWD cars will always understeer on acceleration. While suspension modifications can help that somewhat, the basic physics underlying the whole thing dictate that you only have X amount of traction to split between accelerating and turning. There's no getting around that simple fact, so you need to adjust your driving teechnique to account for it.

FWD cars prefer an early-braking, dogleg line in order to decrease the radius of the acceleration part of the turn as much as possible. So you'll want to brake early, let the AI pass you, and then dive under their line and pass them on exit.

Here are some basic moves you can make to increase the handling of most FWD cars, though:
  • Increase front camber to 3.0

  • Decrease rear camber to zero

  • Increase rear stabilizer setting 1 or 2 clicks

  • Set rear toe out (negative toe) 1 click at a time

Try these steps one at a time until the car handles more to your liking. But in general you're also going to need to adjust yourself to the car.

Also, get rid of all driving aids except possibly one click of TCS. The cornering aids are horrible and they will always second-guess your driving of the car at bad times and screw you up.

400 hp in any FWD car is going to be a handful, particularly if you're trying to late brake. Drive more gently or remove power.

I started using the family cup at certain tracks to test my cars... With my 390 hp SRT-4 I can beat some nice cars I think it was difficulty 6, I will verify and I know I still need to post my settings will get it here in a little bit.

My Integra Type-R does fine w/444hp.... AND i'm using sport tires. I'm doing a 1 minute flat lap time at tsukuba which is a pretty flat track, meaning easier for FF cars to start pushing out of a turn. I think all you guys need to do is fine tune your throttle modulation when exiting the turn. Don't just pound the gas out of the turn. 👍
